Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

I’m sensing it back. After few days the feel in hand is worse than Apple Leather Case. I don’t know what YMW intend with genuine leather, but this one is not the leather that I want.

If you want proper leather, Crazy Horse leather is not the right option.

Any leather that is able to be rubbed to heal and remove marks is not going to offer a nice feel.

The problem is that the feel was not nice and the leather seems not able to heal and remove marks in the first days of use 😅

I love my Satchel & Page case.... the leather just feels a step above anything else I've bought previously. It does however show micro-scratches easily, but that's just the gloss finish in the leather and will smooth out over time.

I've seen in another thread that some people have used Scotchgard with their FineWoven case.

It won’t last for long as it can’t be absorbed like when you use anything with leather. FineWoven is ultimately recycled plastic… once you apply anything and it wears off the top layer it won’t be there to protect after. You could in theory keep applying it, and keep cleaning the case I guess.

I’ve got a few scratches on the case so far and can’t wait for it to really show its age in a few months. Good suggestion on r/patina which is what lead me to the satchel & page case.
