I'm open to PU leather if the case is exceptionally good.

I am on the lookout for a decent non-leather or PU leather case as I don't like handling my Aspen when I have wet hands. Obviously becuase leather and water don't mix, feels horrible.

Part of me wishes I'd kept one of my Sheaths

If it’s pu leather I’ll return it for sure. I’ve got one of the fake apple leather ones from Ali express and I can’t stand the rubber feel of it. Right now I’m using the new Sandmarc case and it’s pretty nice. I’ll post some pics later.

ordered the blue and the wine red. I like the colors. definitely doesn't feel as premium as the other cases but it's not terrible for the price. also if your not a fan of the lip gap thing like Ryan London has don't get this case. the wine red resembles the garnet red of caudate to me.

Been using the sandmarc minimalist leather case this week. First it’s not really minimalist, weighs 35 grams for 15pro and is just as think as the other cases I have. There are a few pros to this case though. 1) I like the color. 2) it has minimal lip, basically the top and bottom lip are even with a screen protector but the sides are slightly more raised. 3) flat buttons that have good feel and clickyness.
Now for the cons, 1) slightly heavier than other leather cases. 2) so far the leather doesn’t feel great, not as soft or supple as the bare or Keyway cases. 3) hate the branding. 4) bottom of the case doesn’t sit flush and easy to see the gap by the usb port. I also worry because it’s so thin around the port that could end up breaking or causing issues.

I’m up in the air about keeping or returning. The biggest plus is the lower lip but not sure if the leather is going to come around and feel as good as some of my other cases.

Little update on my ryan london closed bottom. Coming in nicely, i think this is close
to 7-8 weeks. Not too sure to be honest but i haven’t been easy on it at work, sometimes same pocket as my keys or pens at work. Certain lighting it looks darker than this too.

My Ocean at 78 days and the Ocean from two years back on the wife’s 13 Pro, which she just started using. Not sure how much usage there is in total but the patina is pretty similar.

After the first couple they’re easy to ignore 😅 especially after this case became the case I take to work cause of the closed bottom and my habit for just sorta setting the phone down anywhere
