Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

I just spent some time going through the early pages of this thread and looking back at all the X & 11 cases. It was a nice little trip down memory lane. It was interesting to see how those all looked new and how they looked after a few weeks of use and I have to admit having owned at least a dozen cases from a dozen brands I think the LC is the closest to those old cases. My LC is three weeks old now and its looking like a lot of those old saddle brown cases did around the same time. I have every confidence that in a few months this case is going to look just as stunning as those old X & 11 cases did.

Having said all that if Apple relaunched the X or 11 pro phone with the current chip set and camera's and brought back that old leather case. I'd be camping out at the store the night before just to get my hands on one. Those were the best phones and best cases without a doubt.

I did this same thing a couple of weeks ago, and it made me do the exact same. I would be pre ordering or camping out for both the case and phone. I really don’t understand the squared off phone at all. Never been comfortable to me. Plus the open button Apple leather case was so comfortable and awesome!

It’s pretty fun isn’t it? Seeing how the cases evolved. Honestly I would pay good money just to have any Apple leather case back. There is just something about first party.

I also go back and look at the leather covered buttons. Kind of wish that was still a thing. The metal buttons are cool, but it’s so inconsistent across brands. Very few get them right.

Having had both covered buttons and metal buttons I much prefer the metal ones. But hey, thats just my opinion.

Yeah so mostly these days the metal buttons are better, but back in the day the leather buttons on the Apple leather cases were legit. I agree other brands couldn’t pull it off. Heck I think the closest anyone has come to Apples metal buttons are the BS Flex case. Although the BS open bottom have nice buttons that are covered on the sides by leather. But Apple have the best in my opinion. The metal I mean. Other are too then and stick out, but I guess it’s hard to make that recessed hole for the button.

Another thing, these have the cutout for the capture button. All the reports say Apple cases will have a captive capture button on their cases.

I don't follow the rumor mill closely like a lot of folks here, but I thought Majin Bu was one of the most trusted "leakers."

In that particular picture it was a cutout like the first silicone cases he leaked. But that’s now been changed. I sure hope this is correct and they are a different material. It says on the box leather, which is weird.

The colors don’t make a lot of sense to me. Apple has rarely if ever put out the exact same color as they had the year before. Not saying they can’t, just odd to me.

Either way, I don't think Apple is ever using real leather again based on last year's Apple Event lol.

I’ve already started looking for a leather case for the iPhone 16 Pro… I saw that RyanLondon already has it available on their website, but nothing from the other brands yet… I’ve seen good reviews about LuckyCoin, but I can’t find it anywhere on Amazon in the EU (.de, .it ...).

From where did you get your LuckyCoin cases for 15series in the EU?

I believe they were only available on Amazon US but they did worldwide

On some things… but you’ll notice he just posts endless contradicting leaks, and some info is correct but some is way off.

I replied to him saying these are just the cheap replica Chinese cases and he then replied to me saying yeah they aren’t genuine.
