Right. I was just wondering if that was confirmed from Bullstrap themselves.

I have yet to receive a reply from BullStrap in regards to the product delay email I received.

The right thing to do as CEO in addition to what was offered in the email is…

1) Offer a complete refund because of the delay.
2) Offer 50% off the delayed order

The CEO didn’t step up, in my opinion, because he didn’t want to take more of a loss on product already ordered. And in doing so, he is sacrificing good customer service. BS could have gone the extra mile with excellent customer service and in doing so, gain even more customers long term.

It is unacceptable to ask a person to wait over 2 months for a phone case, in my opinion, I don’t care how ‘good’ a leather case is touted to be. If we were talking about a house purchase or something more substantial than an iPhone case, my reply to BS and the forum might be different. As it stands, I don’t like the route BS has taken with purchases already made. If I don’t receive a reply from BS, I will take my actions to the next level.

You know, I don’t disagree with you but as bummed as I am, I’m just gonna try to ride this out best I can- I have an apple silicone case on the meantime which isn’t the end of the world. Whereas I am going to choose to wait for my order (may pick up a Ryan London to hold me over to get into a leather case sooner than later- my husband can have it as a second one when I get my BS) I agree that waiting almost three months after a phone came out is a little much. I wish they would tell us why they are so delayed to justify the enormous wait. Because in tech world three months is a quarter of the way to the next iPhone. I don’t upgrade every year (more like every two) but for the people who do, the case just isn’t worth getting if you get it so late.

I’m not going to freak out on them or their customer service reps but I did ask for expedited shipping to shorten this wait as much as I can in addition to the 50% Off another product (new iPad case won’t hurt my feelings). So that’s where I am at

In the meantime my husband has a closed bottom Ryan London and I was holding it last night and it does feel pretty good. I emailed them and asked if these are ready to ship because if I order one and can get it shipped this week, I’ll pick one up for the next six weeks. If they don’t, then may as well wait for the BS.

Again an explanation from BS would be nice. Idk if this is apple blindsiding these third party case companies and the companies are scrambling to produce a decent product to accommodate the new features of the phone or if something internal happened at BS and they just can’t produce as promised (long shot but maybe the hurricanes affected something on their end- they are in Florida). I don’t get it either and a little more transparency would make this easier to accept.
 
Haha I don’t like the open bottom either! I half considered it but sh*t you not if I got a scratch on the bottom of this phone.. I would be highly upset (that’s putting it lightly)

I won’t do it either 😂 I’m gonna try a Ryan London. That’s my solution. That is depending on their reply which I’ll get tomorrow. My husbands is really really nice. Plus I have a discount code.

I tried the Ryan London but ended up returning it because of the camera cutout. I think I gotta wait until someone releases a button version.

almost 2 months after the release of 16s, and way more than those promised "3 weeks" and no LukyCoin case for iPhone 16... :( or am I missing something?

Yeah that will be December for RL. this is just a temporary case till BS ships. Even then they’ll have a cutout but will redo it with the camera button next year.

I’ve tried my husbands case. The cutout isn’t too bad- I can manage it. Not ideal but it’ll all get worked out in the end

As correctly mentioned, you will need to use one of your warranty replacements and pay the shipping fee to get the updated case. Reason being, the case advertised is the case you received - so they aren't going to start sending out free cases for no reason, the warranty replacement option is still a decent one to have.
 
Not surprising as the rumors about this have been circulating but here we go:

I had a hunch! These case manufacturers aren’t investing more money to include that button in their cases. There’s no real reason to hold onto hope that leather cases will eventually feature the button.

From a business perspective, it makes perfect sense for Apple. By compelling customers to select one of their cases to obtain the button, they’re significantly increasing their revenue.

However, these cutouts aren’t as detrimental as people tend to believe. They’re actually quite user-friendly.

Yeah that makes sense. I just was wondering if there's official confirmation of that being possible from Bullstrap. I saw an email from another member, but I just want to make sure they're going to honor that down the road.

That’s why I’m gonna still get the version with the cut out and then I will just get the other version next year. It is easier to use with a button. I’ll give it that, but it’s not the end of the world to use it without the button

Apple can patent it. Case companies just have to buy the rights to use it. Which will probably trickle down to us consumers, which will make the cost of these cases go up, but I’m willing to pay extra for it ☺️

same, I don't mind paying $10 extra to be honest.
