I know Ryan London indicated end of December for theirs (last I checked) and Bullstrap confirmed (early) next year for theirs. I think bullstrap will use one of the two warranty claims per year to swap the cutout version for the button version. Ryan London won’t do that..

I heard this brand is competing with nomad and bull strap and they also offer matching Apple Watch bands with both of these colors. They have a PC frame like nomad but with aluminum buttons.

I had the brown one for my 15PM. Did not like it tbh. Quite bulky, and the “leather” back had zero texture. Felt like just a thin smooth brown sticker on a TPU back.

RL customer service is awful.
asked them a question why they dont ship to NL. only told my it’s a technical failure. No explanation or solution to make an order.
Asked them how long it would take them to fix this issue, never heard of them! No reply nothing.
customer service for me show how good a company or brand is. So, draw your own conclusion.

Will check it out. I'm going to get a bunch of cases for my next iPhone, either the 15 or 16 Pro, depending on which one has the better Christmas deals. I had a large case collection for my iPhone 5s, and it lasted a long time because iOS supported it for many years. My last two iPhones didn't have as long of support, so I didn't get as many cases for them. Saw lucky coin had MagSafe and I hope they have a bundle that has a MagSafe wallet that matches it.

Thats vegan leather.... so its not actually leather and won't develop that beautiful patina we all crave. I think the fake leather cases should be banned from being allowed to include the word leather in their description.

Thanks. I think it will be OK. I did this once before when I had an iPhone X. The Nomad case at that time only came in brown and I dyed it black. I remember the black did sort of wear/fade around the edges after a few months, so I may see the same thing here. I’ll be sure to post some pics in a few months after the case develops some patina.

Depends what you're looking for.... If you want a good case that fits well and is leather and don't really care what kind of patina id develops then Decoded are good. If you wand a leather case that fits well and develops a glorious patina then there are better options. Decoded cases, in my experience just don't develop a great patina. If you're planning to get a black case it doesn't really matter as black doesn't patina that much, it just gets more glossy. But if you're looking for a tan or brown then I'd look at other options like Ryan London, Bullstrap, Luckycoin, Andar, or Keyway.

Using my RL open bottom and the case feels like it has a bit of flex in the sides like it’s a little big for the phone. Is this normal? If I give it a squeeze it squeaks a bit.

I haven’t had a decoded for a couple years but owned several of them years back and they all fit really well.

As far as protection goes they were decent but to be fair I wouldn’t depend on any leather case for big drops.

I have hardly any flex in my RL open bottom. It fits snugly around my phone.

is there an open bottom RL for 16+?

Also why is the page not easy to get to from main page even for the 16 Pro? Are they covertly rolling out this new model?

Non-uniformity isn't a concern at all, RL leather is pure bliss and that looks fantastic.

I'm about to post a brand new (used for 3 minutes) RL Saddle Brown for the 16 Pro Max and an RL AirPods Pro 2 case in the marketplace if anyone is interested.

My updated Bullstrap Contemporary case came in today. Nice improvement over the original edition. No gap between the bottom of the phone and the case near the charging cutout. Cutouts are aligned much better. The camera bump now matches their open bottom case. Same with the buttons. Leather feels a smidge dryer and rougher than previous Bullstrap cases. This definitely feels and looks a lot closer the OG open bottom case we all know and (mostly) love.

edit: after using it for a few hours, i have noticed that the front sides pull away from the phone easier that my previous Bullstrap. a mild annoyance from an otherwise improved case.

This looks great! I’m too spoiled by open-bottomed cases to go back, but this one looks fantastic. I think the buttons alone make this case.
