Nomad unveils new English Tan color for leather iPhone 16 Pro & Pro Max cases
The Nomad Team have cooked up a tactful new color for their leather case lineup for the iPhone 16 Pro & 16 Pro Max that they call English Tan.www.idownloadblog.com
Is this nomad another le Pelle / Andar?

Yes Ryan London on their closed bottom, metal camera surround case. Should be available late December.Anyone know if any of these companies will be adding a proper camera control button in the short term? Can’t stand these cut outs.
Which camera cutout do you prefer?Got my Ryan London dark brown for my natural titanium 16 pro. The leather is very rough and fuzzy. Almost feels like a peach. All in all I love it. Still awaiting for the black one. Here’s some pics along with my andar aspens in camel tan and navy:

Honestly I’ve yet to use the camera control on my phone.Which camera cutout do you prefer?
Hoping someone develops one soon.Honestly I’ve yet to use the camera control on my phone.
The andar feels better in hand because I have a grip point in the corner for when I’m watching videos. If I do want to use cc the button has very easy access.
The Ryan London I have to dig deep to press it. For scrolling there’s not much room to play with and the leather feels rough. I would think with better wear the cut out would be easier to feel around.
As of now I would prefer andar for cc access and use. Won’t expect many leather cases if any with proper cc like apple.
RL Saddle Brown ΟΒ 45 days later (left one is day 1).
Completely stunning! this is the combo I’m rocking on my 16 pro max. Have a black one also but can’t take the saddle brown off it’s perfection for me.RL Saddle Brown ΟΒ 45 days later (left one is day 1).
Depends what you're looking for.... If you want a good case that fits well and is leather and don't really care what kind of patina id develops then Decoded are good. If you wand a leather case that fits well and develops a glorious patina then there are better options. Decoded cases, in my experience just don't develop a great patina. If you're planning to get a black case it doesn't really matter as black doesn't patina that much, it just gets more glossy. But if you're looking for a tan or brown then I'd look at other options like Ryan London, Bullstrap, Luckycoin, Andar, or Keyway.Do you guys rate Decoded Leather cases?
Don't get that issue with my Casebelle.Still loving my decoded case. The only complaint I have is a complaint that seems universal to all full-leather closed-bottom cases: You can see light coming in around the USB C port. I had the same problem with my Andar Aspen with my iPhone 15.

Me neither with my casebelle. 😊Don't get that issue with my Casebelle.
Looks like it turned out nice!Warning, purists look away…
A Blue Nomad Modern Leather Case!
After trying a number of different leather cases, I decided I like the Nomad modern leather the best, in spite of it being a bit bulky. But the case doesn’t come in blue. So I decided to fix that myself. Ordered an English Tan case. Upon receipt, I wiped the case with acetone to remove any coatings, then used a blue leather dye that I already had to dye it. After drying, I treated it with some leather conditioner, let dry, then treated with a satin acrylic coating (Eco flow satin sheen).
Overall, I think it came out pretty good. Not perfect- the area around the camera was difficult to clean/stain, but I’m ok with that. I’ve got a case that I like, in a color that works for me.

That turned out a lot better than I expected. Nice job. I'm curious to see what the long term wear looks like on this one so please post more pics in a few months.Warning, purists look away…
