Is anyone else experiencing this on their new RL cases? Gap by the charging area. My husbands cutout version doesn’t have this.. I’m seeing a few users on Reddit with this new issue on their new cases so I’m just seeing if this is something my husband has to look forward to
No issue with mine!

This has been a common finding with a lot of cases since the 15

I don’t have any issue with that on my Bullstrap 16 pro max contemporary and neither does my husbands current RL. just hoping our new v2 cases won’t have these! But good to see there’s other people out there without the issue! Makes me optimistic!!

Yeah that review. Totally can see it.

Really really hoping my husbands case doesn’t have that issue
Hope these cases are not too loose. I don’t see the YTer use a 15 pro which is a bit shorter than the 16 Pro.

Coincidentally the YT algorithm suggested me the RL case videos when I looked up leather Apple Watch bands 👀

Mine looks nothing like that, could it be a Pro/Pro Max issue? I have the Pro.

I just checked mine and It is a very small ligthbleed on the right side of the charging port cutout. Barely niticeable. But I don`t mind that. It was very bad with the Otterbox Cactus and Deoded last year with the 15PM.

I can live with that and the case is very snug. I am still very impressed with my first ever RL Case.

Cool, but it has been a common issue across lots of cases since the 15 series came out.

RL, Andar, Decoded, various cheaper cases have had some reportings of this.
None of those cases you can get here so haven’t come across it.

0 issues with mine fits absolutely perfect like all of my RL cases thru the years. Never had an issue with a single case of theirs. With that said it was on and off for me. Just can’t do a closed bittom case. Takes away so all of the form and functionality of the phone.

Post some pics please :)

I had that issue for the 15 pro max with RL that’s why I stayed with open bottom cases for this generation.
With all due respect, this RL hype is getting out of the hand. They are nice cases, and I appreciate the effort of introducing a cc button in their cases. But you are charging 72€ + shipping for that case without warranty!!! It shouldn’t have that QC issues. When you have Bullstrap for 71$ right now and with warranty or Alex Goldfinch for 35€ now, both with a debatably better quality overall.

To be fair, Bullstrap is the only one with a warranty, and they deny claims all the time. So I wouldn’t really say it’s anything special.

Do they deny claims? Is a common thing? I only had 2 experiences with them regarding warranty, and both were positive.

I've only had to deal with them once, from what I hear from friends/co workers its not even worth it. They all have switched to Luckycoin or RL and have been happier with the quality of the product as well.

You can ask here, there are several users that have had bad experiences with denied claims.

I am not saying they do it every time, but that warranty isn’t as rock solid as it sounds. I have never bought a case from them expecting I would be able to get a warranty replacement down the road.

RL may not have the warranty, but I have had good experiences with Jun and his team getting a replacement if anything goes wrong.

ouch… didn’t know they had that reputation, I had contacted 2 times with their CS and everything all right, first they agree to change the color of my case, and then they replaced my case that had scuffed a bit.

I've been lucky I guess. I've damaged 2 cases while riding my bike and they sent replacements with zero issue. They also sent me an updated version of their closed-bottom case when it came out.

The only time they wouldn't send me a replacement was when they sent me a replacement case that had a pretty noticeable scratch out of the box.

From what I've read, I think their 'cosmetic damage replacement warranty' which you effectively get as part of the purchase price is okay but obtaining warranty or replacements for defects is piss poor

I haven’t seen them deny claims either. Maybe a few here and there but people take advantage of companies too so I imagine they have a line that needs to be established too.

If I completely wrecked my case I’d do a warranty. If my cat left a micro scratch or two on the back I wouldn’t .. but some people think their leather should stay pristine all the time. I think those are the people who do the complaining about their claims being denied.
