I haven’t seen them deny claims either. Maybe a few here and there but people take advantage of companies too so I imagine they have a line that needs to be established too.

If I completely wrecked my case I’d do a warranty. If my cat left a micro scratch or two on the back I wouldn’t .. but some people think their leather should stay pristine all the time. I think those are the people who do the complaining about their claims being denied.

I believe DR3MCLAREN was denied by BS. I really appreciate your loyalty to BS, but they don’t have the best track recorded. I don’t hate them, I just don’t trust them.

Really! I’d like to hear his experience.

I get it. I really like the CS at Ryan London but they just don’t make the leather wrapped camera. Yet ;)

Yup, Bullstrap's reputation proceeds them and it's not good. Remember leather gate when they released a massive "test" batch of leather cases just to rush them out to the masses hoping no one would notice. Hence why for leather I stick with the best Ryan London leather wrapped open bottom case.

Yep I've mentioned it here before. I had a pretty poor experience with BS customer service. They didn't so much as deny my claim but rather made it virtually impossible to satisfy their "requirements" to complete the claim. I had a BS sienna that suffered some damage and I reached out to them for warranty. It was nothing extreme, but did involve a tear in the leather on a corner. I normally wouldn't do that as I've always felt that wear and tear is my fault and shouldn't be the manufacturers expense. But hey, they advertise this "great warranty" and everyone here was getting replacements for their minor damage so I figured I might as well request a replacement. It was a very long drawn out process that involved multiple emails over multiple weeks each asking for more and more "evidence". It started with them wanting multiple photos of the case from multiple angles ( which is fair ), then they wanted a written explanation of how the damage occurred, then a hand drawn diagram of where and how the damage occurred, then a written statement of why I felt the case should be replaced by their warranty and not be my own cost. By this point I was several weeks into this "easy warranty replacement" and in the end I walked away and swore to never ever support them again. Shame really because I really did like the case and I more than likely would have stayed loyal and become another long term client like @Brooke795 but they ruined that for me.

I had that issue for the 15 pro max with RL that’s why I stayed with open bottom cases for this generation.
With all due respect, this RL hype is getting out of the hand. They are nice cases, and I appreciate the effort of introducing a cc button in their cases. But you are charging 72€ + shipping for that case without warranty!!! It shouldn’t have that QC issues. When you have Bullstrap for 71$ right now and with warranty or Alex Goldfinch for 35€ now, both with a debatably better quality overall.

Besides what people have already mentioned here about denied claims, take other countries into consideration too!
RL: €60 with shipping, Bullstrap: €110. In the EU. I have both of them, but I’ll never buy another Bullstrap at that price again.

There is simply no difference between them to justify this price difference. Not to mention the warranty – I waited 3 weeks for the case to arrive, and I believe that if I had to rely on the warranty, it would easily take 2 months to receive it, considering the rigorous process described by @DR3MCLAREN

That's just childish and foolish on Bullstraps end. My goodness.

I thought I remembered your story. That almost stopped me from ever buying from them again. That and the countless stories here of fit issues. Just a hard company to support with CS like that. The product is usually great, but when it’s not, they don’t back it up.

Thanks for sharing again.

Or remember the claim of full grain leather, and on the packaging they put Top grain and got called out. They claimed it was a marketing screw up. Yeah the list goes on.

The sheer number of fit issues amongst others with their cases is astronomical. Coupled with 2 or 3 versions of the same model and it's still not right.

Especially when you consider you can buy 3 Luckycoins for the price of one BS. You also get super fast prime shipping and little to no duty costs to those of us who live in countries outside the USA. I also found the LC to look and feel nicer than the BS too. My LC broke last week and I haven't replace it yet but I know that when I do I'll still be better off financially than I would have been with BS.

Here is my loyalty to Jun and his team. Also long live Apple leather. Golden brown looking really nice with black RL.

Finally got my Ryan London case in but there’s a small dent near the power button. Not sure if it’s worth contacting Ryan London over.

I liked luckycoin, bottom closed, but unfortunately broke on the thin part covering the usb c part in just 3 weeks?

Man, have you seen Alex Goldfinch? (www.alexgoldfinch.com) You are in the exact same case I was, Im from Europe, I paid 115 euros last year, I loved quality and patina but, that was just to much. This year saw this company they are from Spain, and pulled the trigger, they are top on quality and price is much better than Bullstrap. (I’ve posted some photos in this thread)

Of course I’m not recommending Bullstrap for us European anymore haha.
At £31, I would order the Taupe if it was closed bottom

I think I saw that you live in Canada…where are you seeing Luckycoin on Amazon in Canada? Or are you using a different country’s Amazon site?
