Why in the world did RL go with that awesome camera cutout with only the open bottom and not the closed? Meh. Case hunting continues
They sell both now. The Ryan London without the metal frame was released on their website today. It includes an open bottom as well.thought ryan london had the metal cutout?
Yup need it with the closed bottom and ill buy it asap. They sell both now. The Ryan London without the metal frame was released on their website today. It includes an open bottom as well.
To me the open bottomYup need it with the closed bottom and I’ll buy it asap.
What you're describing sounds a lot like the Lonli Edition case. It doesn't have a metal frame around the camera, and it's closed bottom. Have one on order to try with a silver 17 pro!Yup need it with the closed bottom and ill buy it asap.
have that on my phone right now -- the lip (around the front of the entire phone) is too aggressive / deep for my liking (vs. Ryan London 15 pro)What you're describing sounds a lot like the Lonli Edition case. I agree but I hold my phone a certain way when I play the only 2 games on my phone (Pokemon go battle league and mario kart tour) and this open bottom puts a huge dent in my finger. To me the open bottom
- is more comfortable on the pinky,
- makes the phone feel less tall, and
- provides a better swipe motion from the bottom
The lip around the camera bump? It looks pretty similar in photos.have that on my phone right now -- the lip is too aggressive / deep for my liking (vs. Ryan London 15 pro)

Any time I try an open bottom case I have the same problem and wind up switching back to a closed-bottom case within a day or so haha.I agree but I hold my phone a certain way when I play the only 2 games on my phone (Pokemon go battle league and mario kart tour) and this open bottom puts a huge dent in my finger.
its always why I couldnt deal with the apple clear cases either

I've had my eye on the Bluebonnet. Excited for your review.I’ve been using the Apple Techwoven while I patiently wait for the Bluebonnet. Hope it doesn’t disappoint.

Received the Lonli Edition case, comparing it to the Belemay case.

Lonli left, Belemay right
Both refer to their colours as "Saddle Brown", though the Belemay has a more saturated colour. It has satisfying clicky buttons and a very responsive camera control button that feels solid. The leather texture is smooth, but there was a break in the leather around the camera control button. The Belemay looks very similar to the Ryan London case with the same style black metal frame.
The Lonli Edition case has a more textured surface with a lighter brown. The buttons feel a bit nicer than the Belemay, but the big miss here is camera control. It wiggles in place. It's functional, but it doesn't feel nice to use and does not match the quality of the other buttons. The camera plateau has a leather bump out frame which I do prefer, but the cases inner felt material kind of pokes through as a soft fuzz around the opening in a few spots.
I think my preference for the case colour is closer to the Belemay with it's redish brown hue that looks closer to the Ryan London saddle brown, Luckycoin brown, and Bullstrap Sienne. For now neither I'm still looking for the right case, but the Belemay is very close, I just wish mine didn't have a defect!
Lonli Edition is a leather wrapped (fully open) plateau.Yeah, that's a bummer. Aside from Bullstrap/LuckyCoin's covered plateau design, I think Bluebonnet is the only brand doing the leather wrapped plateau.
I felt the same way. It made the case/phone feel a lot thicker overall. I returned mine and am just hoping BB ticks all the boxes whenever it finally shows up 🤞🏼(around the front of the entire phone) - I edited my post to be more clear.
I don’t have the phone or case, but here’s a quick mockup I threw together for you. Hopefully it’s helpful.Does anyone have the Cosmic Orange with the Nomad Traditional Leather in Rustic Brown (Horween)? I’d like to see if it’s a good combo or not.
