Here's a picture of a Mujjo Case that has been worn in for some time. I'm not sure if actual leather does this?

Woolnut makes a nice one. What's the best leather case that isn't the Apple Leather Case? I have an iPhone 11 and Apple doesn't make leather cases for the iPhone 11.
I've tried out Mujjo and Bullstrap and the leather on the Mujjo case seems pretty thick but it looks almost too perfect and the Bullstrap case looks like nice leather, but it seemed a bit thin. I'm wondering what your guys' opinions are on the non-Apple Leather Cases and which one has a nice, quality leather.
Also, I've emailed a few companies and Mujjo sources their leather from Texas. Bullstrap sources their watch strap leather from Italy, but they said that their phone case leather comes from "around the world". Apple's website says their leather comes from Europe.

Out of curiosity, how do those lens protectors stick? I mean do they adhere to the lenses themselves or the glass surrounding the lenses? And is it secure, does it stay on. I've tried similar lens protectors on previous phones that stick to the lens, but they never adhere right and fall off. @Brance, how do you like the Spigen one on your phone, do you still use it, did it stay on, any thoughts/input would be appreciated.I appreciate it! I ended up ordering this last night, so if it doesn't work out I'll give your recommendation a shot.

Thanks for your reply. I was curious how these worked. I was so close to getting a Green Pro Max, but I'm glad I went with the Space Gray in the end. Maybe next year I'll change it up, but then again, I say that every year and I end up with the Space Gray/Black version whatever it's called. LOL.The Spigen one I received sticks really well. It is one piece so since the lens are ever so slightly raised, that is the main part that it sticks to. I've since removed it from my phone. I think it looks great when centered properly and stayed on with no problems but it drove me crazy because it left a very, very small amount of space between the cover and the edges of my iPhone leather case. The problem was lint, dust, etc. got trapped there so it always made it look like dust and whatnot was stuck there and I really didn't like that. Otherwise, it worked perfectly fine.
Basically, I got it because I wanted the camera to be darker because I regretted buying the Midnight Green. This did the trick of making it look better but added the disadvantage of dust/making it look dirty all the time.
Nice. I really like that. I think I will place an order.
Just a heads up, looks like Amazon has it for $45 (prob preferable if you're in the states).Looks nice. The 40 euros + 20 euro shipping isn't horrible for a high end leather case - it looks really nice.
Hah thanks... that's ... a LOT cheaper.Just a heads up, looks like Amazon has it for $45 (prob preferable if you're in the states).
No problem, happy to pass on purchase knowledgeThanks for your reply. I was curious how these worked. I was so close to getting a Green Pro Max, but I'm glad I went with the Space Gray in the end. Here’s my Bullstrap case on my 11. I’m definitely not fond of it. This is definitely a case for people who don’t like the case to show wear and darken. It will basically look new all the time (which is very annoying to me). Against my better judgment I tried darkening the case manually and it’s hardly changed color. I also have a nomad case and I have zero complaints other than how dark the leather gets with time.
Dang, that's unforunate cuz it looks really nice and their website does say that it's made out of calf-skin leather. The leather on the Nomad cases sounds nice since it's Horween and all, but I'm personally looking for a case that is wrapped all in leather vs with tpu. I still might just bite the bullet on the bullstrap case cuz it might be the closest to the Apple Leather Case as any case will get. I find myself using this he nomad case more though, it’s just so much more protective. The Bullstrap does seem a little thinner than the apple case. Haven’t seen them side by side so I can’t say for sure

Also, for the ultimate leather case junkie lol

it is pretty nice. Definitely the closest to the apple case I’ve tried yet. Like I said just don’t expect it to change very much at all. But I Love the metal buttons on the Bullstrap like the Apple case, But I still think the Apple case is the best.
Took me a second to realize this was a mirror shot. I was like.... ollum?View attachment 898466

I considered getting a woolnut case when I was looking but I just didn’t see enough reviews or pictures about it. They seem legit though, I’d like to give them a shot if I didn’t have to many cases as it is😂 but a 6mos seems like a long time to develop noticeable patina. Let alone a year🤷🏼♂️So I reached out to Woolnut yesterday to ask them a few questions and this is their reply. It also includes a picture of how their case patinas over time.
“All different types of leather have their own unique characteristics in so many ways. The leather we use is sourced from Scandinavia (Sweden and Denmark to be more precise), which have some of the most strict animal welfare policies in the world. Further more, all our tanning of the leather takes place in either Gold or Silver rated LWG (Leather Working Group) tanneries, which are their highest ratings. This itself makes our type of leather some of the most traditional and desired type of leather where the patina grows stronger with time, leaving every leather piece beautifully unique.
We also develop a pebble effect on the structure of our leather since we think it looks and feels very charismatic and beautiful. The origin of a leather, the way of life, climate and many more factors also including the treatment of the skins and the tanning process itself all makes for some unique characteristics on the final leather. There is not simply a leather called ”Italian” or ”American” leather since all these factors can have so many different end results. The preference of leather is in the end a subjective thing.
This picture will give you an idea on how the patina develops with time and use for our iPhone case:
Our iPhone cases are made in a factory in China, using our Scandinavian leather. Parts of the manufacturing process is handmade but for the most part the cases are manufactured using special machinery. The retanned leather is tanned twice to get a specific softness and stretching capabilities that is more suitable with the iPhone case mould.”

My red case is also very grainy/pebble like. It feels much better than my worn in saddle brown case. Nice looking case by the way. 👍🏻View attachment 898849View attachment 898850View attachment 898851The Forest Green has become really nice and grippy. Definitely love this case almost wish Apple used this same leather for their other colors
