Interesting, I wonder why it is more pebbly than the standard saddle brown one. I ordered a woolnut case to see and they seem like they're also pebbly too. Will update with pictures when it comes in.
Yeah same here. Both Forest Green and Product Red are more scratch resistant they also take longer to patina

I wish these case manufacturers would not put their logo so prominently on the case. That’s what’s nice about the Nomad cases, logo is on the inside.

Took two days cuz I ordered it off of amazon and it had prime shipping.
Honestly, I think I like the look and feel of the bullstrap case more cuz this one feels a bit plasticky. I might end up returning this one but I’ll give it a week or so.
What were you going for? Does wiping alcohol to leather add something to it?
That’s pretty unfortunate though cuz I liked the look of it when you posted it last time.
Yea it’s a bummer. I was just trying to disinfect it. The finish is now matte with really small shiny spots. and it feels kinda weird.

Do you mind posting a pic? I kind of want to see it cuz I’ve never seen alcohol + leather. I personally wouldn’t dare to do that.
I'd never buy another case again if Apple made theirs with a bottom lip. Nomad used to make all-leather cases for the 6-8 series and they were incredible.
I’ve message nomad a couple of times asking if they are ever going to make a fully wrapped leather case similar to the 6-8 series phones. I got the same response each time to the effect of; we currently do not have plans to manufacture a new case design which would be fully wrapped. But, thanks for your interest and we’ll forward it to our development team. In the meantime, checkout our latest products.
I also wish they would go back to the old wrapped design. I’d buy another one of their cases in a heartbeat.
Yep, I think it’d be a perfect Apple leather case alternative since they source their leather from a well-known tannery unlike any other leather phone case company.
I tried asking that too and got the same response. It’s unfortunate.

That’s not as bad as I thought it would look. I still like the yellow case.
It’s been a few days with the Woolnut case now and it’s grown a slight bit on me. It definitely feels the same as when I first put on the case though (very hard). I think I still plan on going with Bullstrap (when their iPhone 11 Sienna comes back in stock) because I think I like the look and feel of their leather better. I can’t seem to shake the feeling that the case feels kind of plasticky (even though it’s most definitely not plastic and actual leather)
I like the pebbly leather look on purses and some leather shoes but in my opinion, intense pebbly leather doesn’t look as good on phones in person. Also, this is a super minor issue and might be hard to see in the picture but the camera cutout is not a perfect square and is a little uneven.
I owned a Haxford case a while ago and it felt the same way. Rough and like plastic but smelled like leather. I returned it because I didn’t want my phone to feel like a football😂
So Bullstrap is going to replace it for free, I just need to wait for the case to come back in stock
