So Bullstrap is going to replace it for free, I just need to wait for the case to come back in stock

Ya, Bullstrap has really good customer service. They answered so many of my questions and gave a pic of a patina on a case a while back.

I just wish their case would be back in stock already. It’s been a few weeks now.

Full 30 days using the red leather case. I think it may be time to switch to the defender pro since it has the anti microbial coating. I’m not sure if that matters at this point.

That looks amazing. I bought a red case with my iPhone X way back when but ended up returning it for a midnight blue and haven't had anything else since. My current MB isn't aging near as quickly as my last one did.

this red is different from the previous reds. This has a nice red berry to maroon look. Will look nice with my pro Gold. Thanks

In case someone was wondering how does a 5 months old lemon yellow leather case looks like:

It's not as beautiful as it used to be, but still I love it 😊

thank you for sharing. The sides are more black than a darker yellow?

Here are a few more pics. I’m trying to get a better angle to show how the edges and sides are aging.

Guys, would those leather cleaning products that are used for cars work on Apple's cases? For someone who is not particularly keen on getting patina, I think that's what they use the products for. I've seen before and after results and it works on removing the patina color but the wrinkles and etc mostly stay there.

Have any of you tried any leather restoring products?

Yes, I regularly use my auto leather conditioner on my case. Usually take the case off and apply conditioner every couple weeks. I’ve been using Griots Garage leather conditioner. But any brand should work fine. I like the Griots garage stuff because it smells like leather.

You can also use the automotive leather cleaners if the case is dirty, but you should apply conditioner afterwards. Most companies like Meguiars and Mother’s also make a combined Cleaner/conditioner that you can use as a 1 step product.

hey guys, i really would love a peacock color leather case but not a folio fan myself. do you think the regular leather case will be released in peacock color? when usually the new colors released? the Xs had lots of options.

My Apple Leather Yellow case is only a few weeks old, and it is rather dirty. And, I was not even handling it with jeans on. Weird.

The blue Apple Leather one that someone posted earlier, looks lovely. Might have to look into that one. Back to my red Apple Leather case for now.

Thanks for the answer! So do these cleaners restore all of the original color or there will always be some sort of darkening? Also, does the conditioner make the leather oily or shiny, or mess with the original color?

I think it may depend on the color of the case. My apple leather case is midnight blue, and I have a nomad case in black. The leather picks up oils from being handled over time and I dont think that leather cleaner will get that out. Over time the case will get darker (See the picture of the blue case I attached). The leather conditioner may darken some leather, again, depends on the color. If you use it sparingly, it shouldnt make the leather oily or shiny.

My nomad rugged case after about 3mos of abuse. I absolutely love everything about it. In most lighting it looks very dark, you can hardly tell it’s brown. But in sunlight it looks awesome

Your red aged so much better than mine. Wickedly jealous
Thank you!! I struggled with what case to use this weekend since we’ve been having to “shelter-in-place”. My case stash has been staring at me, but I’m still using the red leather case. So far, I’m up to 41 days.
