Leopard has SHIPPED!

well, well, well...

received the shipment notification email the 23rd. Still only "billing info..." on the tracking so I called UPS.

The cat is in NL, but Apple haven't asked UPS to pick it up yet(?!) 😕

going to be a loooooong weekend 😱
 
the guy that said he called apple and they told him he "would be lucky" to get leopard makes me a little mad. I ordered leopard OCT. 16th at 5:52pdt. I should recieve it tomorow. I will be a little upset if i dont. I really want my leopard!!!

I just woke up to a shipping notice from Apple. Went to Fedex to check the status and it shows that it was notified for pickup in Texas and will be delivered tomorrow before 10:30AM!
This sure beats waiting until 6PM and having to drive an hour each way to the Apple store.

ok i need to ask did anyone get the pre-sign- print and sign option on your order as usual? i will be at work and always rely on the release form (except on something huge like an imac). thanks in advance.
 
I woke up too with a email from Apple with a tracking number. It left this morning, and will arrive in Las Vegas at sometime before 10:30 am. That is a heck of a lot faster than 6 pm at the store. It did offer me the pre-sign agreement if I wanted, but I will be here to get my copy. It is a Nevada state holiday. But not a federal holiday so mail will go including Federal Express.
I am pumped!!!
 
Still nothing down here in FL...

Does anyone know Apple's return policy on software? I'm thinking about going to my local Apple Store and just buying it on Friday and then returning the one that ships to me.

Mine as well, but now it's shown up as in transit from the US -- doesn't say where so I'm not too sure how long it'll take before it's here... will they do delivery past 5pm do you think?
 
YES! My order has shipped😀😀

It doesn't say who it shipped with, but I don't really care! My girlfriend will be home to recieve it 😀
 
Still Nothing

DAMNIT! Mine still says prepared for shipment and I ordered first thing in the morning on the 16th.

Mine does too, but I do remember the last overnight I ordered they transmitted the data to Fed-ex about 4:15 PM picked up about 7 or 8 PM and I still got it the next day. I am in north Alabama.
 
Time check: Thursday, 10:45am EDT

My order at Apple still says "Prepared for Shipment" and "Ships by: DELIVERS ON OCTOBER 26TH"

What does this mean?

Same-day shipping and delivery?
 
What is everyone worried about? Apple has a ton of orders to ship out, wait a little bit.

As long as its in Fed-Ex's hands by 4pm EST, then we will get it tmrw. If their shipping it out from the west coast it means its still only 8 there.

If you ordered already, you should get it Friday sometime. Lots will be shipping today ,Thursday.
 
UK TNT Status

My order has now progressed to the status of 'Please Call' on the TNT tracking page. I've just given them a call and they have said that this is an international delivery and may be delayed (but she read back to me that the delivery date of the 26th is on the system). There was not a lot more that she could say other than I give them a call tomorrow.

I asked if the delivery could have been embargoed and the response was that this is indeed possible.
 
It's Coming!!!

Finally....Leopard is coming. It apparently was shipped via Purolator from CA yesterday at eight in the morning, but I didn't receive an update until four this morning....what a tease!!!!!
 
Mine is Shipping, but I may have an issue

My status just changed in the last half hour or so. I was given a Fedex tracking number but when I check it on Fedex's website it refers to and order from last year. Plus it is an order that I did not even make. I live in NY. Anyone ever see this????
