Ok, that's pretty strange... When I look up the tracking number, it says it was DELIVERED to Salinas, CA and signed for by Jerry. :confused:

No offense intended toward anyone, but I want it delvered to ME at MY location. I can't wait to see what happens next.
 
I'm in Vancouver, BC and got the shipping notice yesterday from Apple. The tracking # from Purolator only says 'in transit in US'. Doesn't sound promising for delivery tomorrow if that's ground shipping.

So, I live in Portland, OR. Wouldn't you expect the shipment to come from Ontario, CA?

No!

Apparently Illinois is closer to me and that's where my copy is coming from. WTF?

But, at least it shipped!

Ok, now it's fixed. It's coming from Ontario, CA, and it should be here by 10:30 tomorrow, which based on past experience means around 1:00pm.

I wonder if I can bill my time to Overhead tomorrow afternoon? I'll have to check with my company's benefits officer and see if we have paid "Receipt of New Apple OS" leave.

I think Apple just gives them to Fedex or something ,and they handle it. I'm not sure. It's not an apple store shipping them.

I ordered less than 2 hours after pre-orders began last week, and mine is still just "prepared for shipment."

It better ship! :)
 
In Belgium we could make a reservation to get a copy of Leopard. The apple store in Gent named Switch, specially opens tomorrow from 6pm till 9pm. I am curious how packed the store will be... Looking forward to it !

What the hell? I ordered on monday from HE store and mine is still prepared for shipping. I wonder if Apple just uses the system of random numbers to select those packages that get sent and those that don`t.

It's quite simple. They send things to their friends first. People they don't like have to wait...

Mine just shipped, yaaaay, I once again have faith in apple :)

When I finally got the e-mail I checked the tracking and it said it was picked up at ~7:40 (9:40 CDT) this morning, but I got the e-mail at 1:45 CDT. My guess is the order status page takes a while to update.

Ditto, in Vancouver, and "in transit in US". Could it be less specific? Plus according to apple it was shipped via "priority overnite" but according to purolator it says Ground.

Since my iPod Touch has been stuck in Ontario in customs for 4 days I am not holding my breath.

C'mon apple give me at least one new toy for the weekend!
 
Well I finally got my shipping notification, was getting a little worried there.

My copy shipped at 7:19am this morning, overnight priority, its in Memphis right now, should arrive by 10:30am tomorrow morning!

Mine shipped at 6 !! I wish it would give me constant updates so i knew where it was right now...
 
Leopard has arrived!

Heck, if there's a thread about shipping statuses, I thought it about time I started one for people whose Leopard delivery has arrived.

Mine arrived at 8am via TNT courier here in Auckland. :)
