According the my order status page online, Shipped on: 23/10/2007. However I got an invoice that said Ship date 26-Oct-2007. Perhaps that's automatically generated based on when it was meant to ship and doesn't actually reflect what's really happening though ?
In any case, I'm hoping beyond hope that it arrives tomorrow (Wednesday for me). We'll see.

I got an e-mail from Apple about shipping this morning. I got all excited when I saw the delivery date for Oct. 25. Then I saw that it was the stupid AppleCare I ordered yesterday!
LOL, stupid Applecare? My oh my, how we allow an operating system to take over our judgement. I for one would prefer to see the Applecare come as Leopard won't save you if your computer goes on a permanent lunch break, Applecare on the other hand will.
That being said, at least most of you are on "Prepared for shipment", I ordered the day of the announcement and it still says, "Not Yet Shipped".

I've got alot of vacation I need to eat up before the end of the year, so I couldn't think of a better time than Leopard Time!
I for one would prefer to see the Applecare come as Leopard won't save you if your computer goes on a permanent lunch break, Applecare on the other hand will.

Europe Only! Leopard Shipping ?
So there's plenty of posts of Leopard being prepared to ship or having shipped but they all seem to be from outside of Europe.
Has anyone in Europe had shipping notification or 'unable' to cancel their order on the apple store (usually an indication that your item is just about to change status to shipped)... ?
Crazy, like none of us really 'need' (not like our lives depended on it) Leopard by the 26th but as the date grows closer I really want it

i cancelled mine through apples website and im quite glad since a few people have posted saying they recieved panther and tiger later by like a few days up to a week or so..i cancelled it this morning and went and pre ordered it from amazon instead...says shipping 24th estimated deliv 25th, il be happy to get it on 26th
I'd imagine one of the many factories where they print these discs is just across the border from me probably. I could go pick it up in person, almost.
Can't wait until mine arrives on Friday! I'll get in installed just in time to leave on vacation. My wife will love that I'm spending our week in Amsterdam playing with Leopard. What a dork!

when you ordered leopard what time was it. i live in sac also but i did not get mine ordered till about 12pm and i ordered it by phone with apple. I am so stoked
Mine hasn't shipped yet. Its estimated shipping date is the 26th so I assume I won't get it until monday/tuesday. Sucks but I guess I'll be able to see how stable it is over the weekend and see what pitfalls I might need to avoid. Plus, I only paid £50 for it so y'know... swings and roundabouts...
Don't want to bust any bubbles but if Apple does what it has done in the past with new O/S deliveries you will see it at a local FedEx facility.FedEx will hold it until the 26th for delivery.A few will slip through.

wont get leopard on release date
i contacted apple via there website chat and my copy of leopard wont be shipped until the release date i did ask is there any chance they would ship it before hand so that i would received it on the day but they said no not until its offically been relised so i may have to wait until monday for it .
i cant wait as soon as i have it in my hands im off home to install it .

No You were misinformed. If you order it From Apple it WILL be delivered on the 26th or before. I know this because I've done this twice before with Panther and Tiger. Also I talked to Apple a couple of times(In the store and on the phone) and both people said I would get it on or before the 26th.

It will I'm sure of it. Don't worry. Everybody goes through this on a Mac OS release and I don't know of anyone personally that did'nt get it on release day or before that preordered from Apple.
Yea, I have a job interview on Friday morning...and since my current job is nearly two hours away from the other I decided to take the day off and nerd out. I'll probably skip the weekend bender to mess with Leopard. I don't know what happened to me....I'm a ****ing nerd! I'm betting they'll overnight them and most of the copies will be delivered Friday afternoon before the official launch. Friday couldn't come soon enough
