Radio

Is there any chance that Apple will add a radio, either AM ( yeah, yeah)
or FM to the new iPhone. I do use my radio to listen to traffic reports
and weather.

TIA

I think not, Apple and Jobs has always stayed away from FM radio in ipod. I've heard its due to piracy fears. Like jobs would care, he's like the dad of piracy :D

What you could do, if you have a flat rate data plan, is to listen to radio on the internet, like at a website.

Here's mine.

General
1. Horizontal Keyboard
Larger key area. Higher accuracy. Lesser Mistakes.
2. Prolong Battery Life
Wouldn't we want a longer battery life?
3. Louder Speaker
It's relatively soft now at crowded area.
4. Theme
Nokia is doing it already. What is Apple doing?
Leapfrog UI needs better user custom interface. LOL.

SMS Client
1. Periodic SMS alert
Sometimes I do miss a vibration when a SMS arrived. A periodic SMS alert would defiently do (some) good.
2. Character remaining for 1 SMS.
It's a handy one. :)

Safari Application
1. Flash
We want to see flash banners work! Haha.
"Its not a baby internet browser..."
"Not a watered down version of the internet.. internet.."

Here is my wish list:

1. Flash
2. Front mounted camera
3. Wireless syncing
4. Copy and Paste

Thats it. very simple

•Text messaging
needs to be remodeled
ide love to be able to text in landscape view

more cusmomization like sometimes the keyboards background will change to black I instead of grey/silver

Put a passcode on specific apps like text, email, photos, safari etc.

Maybe being able to change icons or at least make new ones
I get bored easily. More little stuff that basic cell phones have
Be able to choose between black or grey with certain apps
like if you go into "photos" the status bar is black but "safari" has a white
Status bar.

Put new camera settngs like zoom, color effects like in "photo booth"
and a self timer.

-PEACE.

voice calls

Did anybody suggest this yet? My plain old cell phone had voice recognition, so you could make calls hands-free. Not that I would, you know, drive and use it at the same time or anything. But if you had to...

oh and it would be cool if you could control the camera by the volume control on the side, just to take an image of yourself and friends, because i find it impossible to judge where the button is on the screen/hold it without dropping it!

Any Iphone PROS wanna help me out here?

I am with TMOBILE and want to use the iphone!

I can either wait and switch to ATT and use the 3G iphone, but only use the WiFi and the Ipod.

OR

I have a guy on ebay willing to sell me a 16gb sealed 2g iphone for 350.

This may sound a little dumb but what should I do? I would use the 3g but I hear the plans are just outrageous.

Teather

It would be an incentive it iPhone could be used to connect my MacBook to the internet.

If you can work CMDA into a software update for the iPhone, I'll be damn impressed!

If they give the CDMA functionability in a software update, ill gladly go out and buy an iphone, take a soldering iron, pull out the SIM and replace it with a UIM...

alright maybe thats a bad idea...

Favorites

Maybe this is minor, but I want the Favorites (in phone) to be person-centric rather than number-centric. I want "Steve Jobs" on my favorites list and have the iPhone prompt me with available numbers when I want to call...

Mobile .. xxx.xxx.xxxx
Home .. xxx.xxx.xxxx
Office .. xxx.xxx.xxxx

You get the idea..

Now I have to have 3 lines on favorites for 1 person with 3 phones...what a waste.

Surely an easy fix...

it would be nice to know when a sms message was going over the character limit

and mms of course

a picture of the contact instead of the message text when you receive a sms would be cool

flash

copy paste

etc

etc

etc

1 - details about recent calls (length of the call)
2 - Attach files to emails (even just pictures)
3 - save files, eg mp3s/pics/powerpoint/word from safari
4 - use the iphone's connection to power my laptop's internet (macbook)
5 - copy and paste
6 - characters remaining in sms
7 - passcode for certain applications only (eg email/sms)
8 - flash/radio etc

Enterprise phone without basic functions?

I'm not sure about this Enterprise ready title. I'm sure its listed, but isn't it kinda stupid not to have these?

1. To Do's
2. Global Search
3. Copy & Paste
4. Sync Notes

Unless its hidden somewhere in there, I don't see it coming for 2.0. What business guy would seriously consider using the iPhone without standard business use?

Sync notes is one I really want. That would be very handy in so many ways. Right now I have to use email if I want to "Sync" notes even though it's not really syncing.

I tried doing that. The notes are somehow in random order. I can't even sort them and with hundreds of entries, its unusable.

Voice dialling!
You get a very hefty fine over here if you don't call handsfree while driving over here.
It's mandatory in the Netherlands.

Any other decent phone with bluetooth has this option, why not the new iPhone?
