You sure talk the talk, but you haven't been able to walk the walk.

It won't be until Midnight PST, or 6:30 AM PST. If It's Before The Midnight PST, I'll Be Surprised.

He reminds me of those "the Rapture occurs on May 22!" guys. When it doesn't happen he just keeps saying "only a half-hour more!"

It probably won't be available until 6pm EST (3pm PST). This has been the case for almost all OS X releases.

The same as most OS X's released on a later 20th date (26-29) and the last week of the month, and a Friday.

There's No Definite Answer Yet. Don't Assume So Rapidly.

The OS X Lion pages will be available in the App Store within the next 30 minutes or so I'm certain beyond doubt. It's just the caching that takes time to fix up. It's the same problem they have with the main store website. To avoid having people ordering different products at different times, they take it down for a few hours so they can sell the same products to everyone globally. With software it matters less so they can keep the app store up.
Source?

I work there, definitely hitting up AirYork tomorrow for the download.
Whoa, dude, I don't want you to be disappointed. They cap AirYork download at 1 Mbps (funny enough, up speed is not artificially capped). I took that screenshot from a computer connected through Ethernet (it needs to have a registered mac address), that's the only way to get those speeds.

I suggest most people that are waiting up for lion to set their iPhone alarms to 4am eastern. Wake up, check if it's there, then go back to bed. It's not worth losing a whole night's sleep over, which is what's going to happen.

Mac OS X lion is one buggy software.

Is like windows me but the Apple way. Get ready to pay 30 bucks for disappointment.

Why would it be 12:00AM EST? I don't get it, I mean that would benefit me since I am I live in NC/NY but seeing as Apple is based out of California I cannot fathom as to what reason it would be released 12:00AM EST and not PST. Thoughts?
First of all, it would be EDT or PDT, not EST or PST.

It's summer, after all...

It's actually amazing how many people here seem to be on standard time in North America. I guess they don't have much sense of what's going on in the world (or don't have careful attention to detail).

:p

Ok please go to bed to free up bandwidth for me. I'm gonna grab a coffee. I'll be back in 20 mins for my OS X Lion download.

How certain are you? If it doesn't come up in another 25 mins (leaving you time for "benefit of the doubt") will you leave? Please leave....

I'm up until 5 am daily doing my own work, so I don't think I'll be going to bed. Web Designing.

As for your Download, It was 20 minutes ago when you said 30 minutes, and now it'll take you 40 total minutes, Your creditability is even less than 0.

It's obvious at this point that he/she is trolling.

I really hope you don't get too disappointed.

There are so many people that say it is a very stable release and then there are always a few that get in these threads and talk it down so much. If it was really that bad I think apple would have waited.

I wouldn't be here at this hour if I wasn't 100% unequivocally certain the OS would be launched here shortly. I'm going nowhere until I have OS X Lion downloaded tonite. I know it will be impossibly slow to download it when day breaks.

I concede it's taking a little longer than I expected for Apple to clear those old cached pages though.
