What's your situation in relation to a MacBook Pro?

I'm still standing, yeah yeah yeah.

I'm ready for tomorrow. I have my creditcard ready, i have a way to check the store online status from within my company (http://www.wwwchrisde.de/apple.html) and a computer at hand between 1400 and 1600 CET.

So tomorrow will rock with a new 15" Penryn MBP for me!!! I'm sure of it
 
Can i still add my name to the people who are waiting for the Penryn update of the MBP??

I have been reading this forum since October and this is my first post so i hope it gives a bit of luck for tomorrows release. I have been keeping it for a special ocasion like this!
 
Someone on another form posted that the /A suffex on the part number would indicate a new product, with updates going /B etc. Can anyone confirm this? This would be a def +1 for a redesign then!
 
im on a winxp pc right now, just waiting for the new mbp to arrive.

i just shifted my money from my first bank account to my card to which my itunes account is hooked ;) (im gonna buy my new mbp with that card, too ;))

please apple, hook me up!

i want:

- penryn update
- graphics card update
- magnetic latch + little redesign
- mba trackpad
- more usb....

- i'd wish for blu-ray....i dont think so though....

i need it to be here in germany by march the 14th.......if apple doesnt release new mbp tuesday and makes them avaible immediately its probably not gonna make it.

wish me luck ;)

agreed. I've been a regular on this site for years but not until this thread when I sign up to join the long line of waiting members.

With the emerging new model # rumor lets just hope it'll be over by tomorrow.:D
 
I fell into this hype months ago- since then i've grown a beard, i haven't showered and my wife left me... oh yeah, and last week I realized how silly it would be not to wait for the centrino 2 chipset - why would I spend top $$ for something that will be replaced in 3 months?? 2.6GHz with only 800MHz front-end bus speed... oorrr 3.06GHz with 1066 bus speed.... hmmmm.... so until June- I'll see you at the Apple store.

PS.
I'll be the one with aura of stank and the two-foot long hobo beard.

Looks like tomorrow might be the day! Loads of speculation from other sites and some actual evidence! Looks like i better box up the Mac Pro to send back!
 
Here is hoping that the MBP updates don't have the yellow tint on the bottom of the display.

I bought my first mac a half year ago, (MBP 15" 2.16).
I use it for personal life and some TV visual postproduction work...

I decided to upgrade it to newer model (LED,battery life,..) , and then i heard about the MBP updates... so i am waiting some weeks for the Penryn introduction.... it would be really great...

i was thinking about 17", but i take it to my job every day (bus, underground, tram) and it is little pricy... i will stay with 15"

Do you guys think that there will be any keyboard look upgrade? i love the MBP diversity from MB, and the current one is cool... as the whole design is...

Congratulations to all those who, like me, are still waiting!
I've not been here in a while but the update on the main page looks to be a real chance :D
100 pages is also quite a feat, well done for that: shows just how much we need these new MBPs doesn't it.
I wonder if, after the updates are released, we could all post thumnails of our new MBPs; although this might be a bit of threadjacking.

Rolleyes is what it's called - I know that I'm definitely going to bed tonight - U.S is 9 hours behind compared to us Europeans.. :p So I'd have to wait that much longer...
 
When this new stuff comes out, do you head up to your Apple store and put your name on a list? Do they actually ship same day as the announcements? Do you have to "pay in full" to get in line or is it first come first serve at the Apple Store?

Great news guys... the wait is finally coming to an end so it seems...

At what time will they presumably update the store?? Any idea's?

The site normally goes down between 12-1 GMT and comes back up anywhere between 1-2:30 GMT. So plus an hour for yourself in Holland.
