You cared enough to come back here and tell us, though![]()
Just keep telling yourself that. But deep back in your mind you know you'll have buyers remorse.
Ifcalled to bitch me out, I think I'd just bitch right back. I'd tell Steve J. to get his ass back in the lab and make me a MBP.
The only thing missing from that mockup is the gigantic fireball that will ensue when the unit is powered on. If you think the current 15" models run hot...
It's already shorts and tank-top weather in Texas so the whole hairy leg and armpit thing is not really cohesive with my environment. I don't think that guy from B-B-Q is gonna call back. I should have worn jeans and a t-shirt. My Venus lady razor weeps with the thought of future use for surely it will lose the battle and will have to be tossed. So here it is, Sunday and I have no hopes for a Tuesday MBP launch. Sorry folks this lady must shave...I think I like my Tattoo Idea better...at this rate it will never go out of style.my beard is starting to make my neck real itchy
I hope I'm wrong, but last week it was even less interesting than TC (the $49 shuffle).i dont think they would need to waste a tuesday announcement on something already in a best buy circular. at least thats what im hoping.
There is hope yet!...just like the past 6 Tuesdays...Apple needs to release the MBP...It's starting to fall behind Dell in what you get for your money...and I've always invisioned Dell as the Yugo of computers, either that or Gateway. Come on Apple...step it up to Fararri or even BMW at least.

That may be why Apple isn't rushing to get the new MBP out because they think of Dell the way you do.
Seriously, Dell is not a competitor to Apple in such a way the Apple feels obligated to keep their line up to date in fear of Dell catching up. It just doesn't work that way.
You have to look at one more thing, when Intel releases new CPU's all Dell does is change the BTO options on their current line to reflect the new Intel CPU. Apple generally does more to their line than just changing the processor. Depending on their cycle changes Apple may add new GPU's or newer LCD's or they may just up the CPU but whatever they do you have to understand that their product cycle doesn't have to necessarily reflect Intel's CPU changes.
That's the way it is.
MR started this new MBP rumor, Apple never said they were releasing new MBP's soon. The current iMac was released a whole year from the previous.
You would probably get more sleep if you stopped looking for every Tuesday that comes around.
