From the forums of that website:
"Clearly, I don't expect Apple to bring out a 12-inch MBP tomorrow, but I suspect there's enough potential buyers out there that Apple should re-think their position. I hope that this forum might generate enough interest to get the mighty Steve's attention, and get Mr. Ive back on the case of the missing MacBook."
It's a neat idea, but I think it would definitely have a magnetic latch a more MBA feel to it. Maybe they would just make a MBAP (MacBook Air Pro).
But more on topic:
https://www.macrumors.com/2008/02/24/macbook-pro-updates-this-tuesday/ Arn put it back up, with this extra:
"We'd originally published a story suggesting that MacBook Pros would see updates this Tuesday. Since that time, we've received conflicting reports as to what exactly is being delivered to Apple stores this coming week. Based on product cycles, the safe bet is the MacBook Pro, with 264 days since the last update. That, however, has not stopped Apple from introducing a slew of other products over the past few weeks (iPod Shuffle updates, Aperture 2.0, 16GB iPhone, 32GB iPod Touch)"
So we know a when, we just don't know that what

I really hope it's this tuesday, because I just found out it's probably this Tuesday that I can get my laptop
