Please, please, please, please, please.........

My old mac mini is driving me up the wall and my father is suffering with my even older 1st gen Titanium Powerbook!!!!!

And due to the time differences (it's 11.30pm here in Australia) I can stay up all night to see what happens or try and sleep (hah!) until the morning when it will all be settled. #$!*@ time zones.
 
YEah, noticed that apple stores are down. That is the 1st time i ever saw that not being part of macworld lol

I really want one, although i can still (very very little ) work with big pieces (Eavy Flash, eavy photoshop and so on) in my 4 years old acer lol...

hope there will be anew MBP.

This info comes to you from London via an Englishman working at Apple, (and there are more than you think ;-))

A revised MacBook Pro with a Leopard 10.5.2 update was meant to debut at MacWorld but neither was ready.

The delay for the MBP was caused by Intel Penryn processors not being available due to some production glitch. As we all know, Apple doesn't like to announce products too far ahead of their shipping dates - with the notable exception of the iPhone - so decided to delay the launch. Penryn-based PCs now good to go and begin shipping Monday.

Expect new MBP 15-inch and 17-inch within two weeks. 17-inch gets LED.

New MBP DOES feature a slightly revised case design with the new black keyboard from MBA and a larger trackpad, but is basically very similar to existing design. Think evolution not revolution.

The idea is to achieve a commonality of look across the range.

SSD will be an option offering an exceptionally fast boot time < 30 seconds.

Also seen lurking in the corridors of Cupertino was an aluminum MacBook 13". Initially available in silver, my source reckons annodised black, blue, pink and other colours will be available around September. New MacBooks will be a big story later this year. One of the range (I don't know which, maybe the black one) will have a superior spec that basically makes it a MacBook Pro 13".

IMO, I think we knew it was going to happen, but didn't want to admit defeat. Next Tuesday for sure, everyone :D

(on a lighter note: We see bigger memory for iPhone and iPod Touch, so I'll consider getting one soon :eek:)
 
Absolute joke! Apple are loosing their grip! Putting too much time into their iPhone and loosing focus on their professional range!

The iPhone delayed Leopard and now it's delaying the MBP! I'm not sure how much i can take. Sorry to rant, but i'm really ticked off.
 
Hello Apple,
I will not (NOT) buy an iPhone, not even with 1TB or for 10 $ only as long as you don't allow us to choose the provider.
But I definitly want to buy an MBP with Penryn and other stuff.

Yah I am really sick of it too they started with computers and they should focus on computers
 
damn I had my creditcard ready for the mbp :mad:

Hope this englishman is right andwe will have it next week. If they come out with a iPhone next week, I think I'll go mad.

Has somebody already written a widget to follow the worldwide :apple:stores online/offline status in realtime? Think that would help folks here a lot :D
 
The intentional witholding of information from customers so as to intentionally shaft them with outdated hardware and inflated prices before new product releases has got to stop.

I'm sick TOO:( Thinking the MBP's were going to be updated today made me feel so much better... but I guess it's back to reality now:mad:
