Hmmm, that was back in Nov.. He may have picked it up to cover sales or something...just speculating.
Looks like another bad feedback came through. It looks like his shipping time lags about 2 weeks behind payment from what I've seen. I'm willing to wait it out a few more days. I'll keep you guys posted.

Oh oops - I was looking at the feedback date from the seller - feb 6th. Well hopefully it comes in 10 days or so.
I actually bought mine 10 days ago. I put it on Amex so I'm covered. Hopefully I won't have to go that route, otherwise I'll wait like everyone else for the next gen MBP.
IMO, the video card would be the biggest reason for me to wait. For it to be "Pro" there needs to be more video throughput IMO.

I hope the Penryn MBP gets here soon. That way hopefully they have the bugs worked out by the time they release Montevina.

How I will purchase:
So, I went to the Apple Store today here in Memphis, TN just to further torture myself. Got to play with the MBA, which was fun. Surprisingly enough, it was a 1.8 SSD -- pretty sweet. But, I digress.
I'm a recording engineering student at the University of Memphis and, of course, we use Macs. I need to be able to modify projects without having to go to school. I need something powerful, but portable. If I could afford a Mac Pro AND a MBP, then I'd do that. But, for now, the MBP will have to do. So, I have decided on my purchasing policy here:
If they update by the end of February, then I'll buy the matte (if still available, i hope so) 15.4" 2.5GHz 7200rpm HDD and upgrade the RAM to 4GB myself.
If they don't update by the end of February, then I'll buy the matte 15.4" 2.4GHz 7200rpm HDD and upgrade the RAM to 4GB myself.
The only difference is, since 2.5GHz is the lowest of the new processors and 2.4GHz is the middle of the current line, the 2.5 would actually be CHEAPER! Which would allow me to save money for that iPhone I want! How does that plan sound?

just thinking, Apple is late with upgrading to Penryn so the reasons thought to be the cause were a redesign but that would of meant WWDC or something, so with the rumor of a February event, that may be the time a redesigned MacBook Pro is released. Any thoughts???¿¿¿
It better be coming. I hope for a much needed redesign as well, but I won't hold my breath. Hopefully a user replaceable HDD, magnetic latch, and super hardware specs on the 17" which will hopefully get a nicer array of PRO ports (no new USBs).

Personally I think Apple will want to separate to events. I mean one is regarding phone or pumped-up media player and other is like proper computer.
Unless Beastbuy inventory is based on pure speculation, I see it coming next week Tuesday. By that time they would have MBA on the mainpage for 4weeks, I say that is a enough exposure to let people know what MBA is. I am really hoping for 12/Feb.(and if the inventory is true it might be a minor speed bump cause they did the same thing with MB SR upgrade. I was hopeful for a change but now as long as it comes with decent spec I don't care)
