Amazon has rebates on current MBP's that in order to qualify, a purchase must be made by Monday February 18.
Wait! this isn't Cars2Bots.com????
WTF? Roll out!
Amazon has rebates on current MBP's that in order to qualify, a purchase must be made by Monday February 18.
As someone posted over in the AppleInsider thread about dwindling MBP supplies:
Interesting.
PCconnection's $150 MBP rebate: "Valid From: 2/1/2008 and 2/29/2008 "
07 VW GTI for sale. DSG, 18" huffs, LOADED!! $22,500 OBO
Sold. It's gonna be this tuesday.
You guys do realize that amazon probably doesn't know more than us, and that they could be speculating for a release just like the very first best buy SKUs released. I'm not getting my hopes up but it would be nice for a release this Tuesday.
Wait! Are you telling me that nozamA isn't Omnipotent??? I hope for this tuesday but pray its next tuesday at the latest!
I think a revision of the MBP SOON is all but assured - Apple wouldn't want to continue letting the MBP trail the Air in terms of features - it makes absolutely no sense.
It makes perfect sense from a brand marketing point of view.
Apple will want to keep the MBA unique in certain areas for the first 6 to 9 months to push sales towards it.
I doubt you will see multitouch trackpad on a speed bump MacBook Pro.
You will see it in a redesign but I personally think this is a ways off: current MacBook Pros are selling very well for Apple.
Just my meek and humble opinion.
If the MBP's arn't released on this Tuesday, I will personally lead a charge of angry Mac users through the Gates of Hell straight to Steve Job's front door demanding our refreshed MBP's! WHO'S WITH ME!
Or I could just chill with the foot of snow we just got...
