I am not sure why you think I am cheap and resort to name calling? I said I have a ton of paid apps.
I have no problem paying for apps.
But if Apple advertises a new feature in IOS then it should be available in all apps. Not just the paid apps.

If app developers do not want to implement new features that is upto them. People will flock to aps that have the latest features. paid or not paid.
It was just released and you moan it’s not available everywhere..

And why are you in for denying someone the fruits of their labor? There are plenty of paid apps out there. For them, every iOS feature is "paid for". API calls from Live Activities cost money. Should the developer have to bear all that cost? And if another weather app undercuts Brian and it results in a loss of subscribers, he'll react accordingly. That's the beauty of a free market.
I totally agree with you. I support the apps I like and pay for them. No problem here...that is how the whole world works.

I still stand by my statement that new features Apple advertises to IOS should not just be for paid apps.
If Devs don't want to incorporate new features into their apps, people will flock to apps that have the new and anticipated features. The is the beauty of the free market.

Try Fotmob. Works excellently with premier league. Just press the star icon in matches. I was also able to have 4 games at a time on the lockscreen.

Can I display more than one game on the lock screen when the phone is locked? I've got 2 games showing atm, but as soon as the phone is locked, one widget groups on top of the other, so I can't see the other game underneath unless I unlock the phone and tap on the widget.

Are you referring to 16.1 or 16.2? Because it appears to be back in the TV app in 16.2.

It’s back as a setting but when you click on it you get a blank white page. I doubt you’ll have to do this before games start so it’s probably just a placeholder for now.

Are you saying the live activities switch is back in the Apple TV app settings under 16.1?

I’m using the Sports Alert app to follow that game. Looking forward to using Live Activities during the World Series.

So as someone who doesn’t follow sports ball I’m wondering, is there any other use case for live activities?

Out of the 141 posts above yours I’d say there are at least 10-15 that address that very question. And another thread that lists all the apps that are implementing it.

Yeah I just found the list of apps. I didn’t read all 141 posts because 90% of them were all the same which indicated there wasn’t much else to it. Flight tracking could certainly be handy. Honestly I just like the new timer which I use a lot.
