So will there just just be loads of kids running into apple stores and setting their own fingerprint password on every iPhone 5S now? haha
Do you whine about every new model of car that comes out too?
Ugh... still four wheels
Ugh... still has seats
Ugh... runs on petrol
Ugh... made of metal
Ugh... glass windshield
Seriously, phone market is maturing. The innovations are always going to be smaller year on year. What do you want, a pocket teleporter or something?
I think some of you need to look back 10 years and try to realise just how wonderful smartphones are. Just think about what you carry in your pocket and all the things it can do.
You mean like we came back in a year or two and ios7 rips off Windows phone and android??
Yes, fingerprint technology has been around for a long time, but it has not been popularized in mainstream tech.
Come back to this post a year from now. All of Google's flagship phones will have fingerprint sensors and will be a key feature of their Wallet product.
To all those claiming of leaving and going to Galaxy phones, have fun with your large plastic phones with gimmicky interfaces and screen that struggles in sunlight.
There are better android phones to be had besides the Galaxy line..in my opinion at least
The 16 GB Nexus 4 is now down to $249 no contract and unlocked. Yes, really. So it's $549 off contract for the iPhone 5C - I'm really not sure why Apple has made this phone. If it was Nexus 4 priced at $349 I could see the appeal, but why would people buy an inferior phone to the 5S just to save $100? It's not worth it.
Despite Apple's assurances, I wonder how long it will take the NSA to figure out how to remotely hack a 5S and get all of our finger prints.
Why? Typing 4 numbers too much of a struggle? Or are you so concerned about the state-secrets on your phone that you need "Get Smart" level security on everything you own.
