My only disappointment is that Apple did not increase storage on iPads. $499 should be 32gig and so on. Besides that everything else looks good.

That is 100% the truth. Apple are beyond peers when it comes to marketing. P.T. Barnum could learn a lot about this company. I'm half in awe at their marketing prowess, and half saddened that they can dominate the market with such ephemera. A truly amazing accomplishment.

It's more than just marketing. Apple is making it clear to everyone that the iPad is no longer about media consumption, but also about media creation. That's huge.

I think this is going to be the "ipad 3" that comes out in the fall.

A 7 inch tablet device designed as an ereader and for games. It will have a retina display and the same processor as the just released ipad2.

Oh boo hoo. I've been in marketing for over 20 years and of course I would play it the same way. That doesn't make it any less lame here.

Overall I'm unimpressed. A nice device for those without the iPad. But for those with - nothing all too exciting for an upgrade.

iPad 3 perhaps.

You can tell they were planing for the 2x display. The GPU could handle the pixels and still offer a slight increase over ipad one.
