My friend has this on his iphone, and his shows twitter. on mine it does nhot why? Also his has a weather section in the settings and mine does not?? any idea why?

He is using the Matte UI theme.

With Native Rendering you can get weather by installing WeatherIcon. Twitter/Facebook/RSS plugins are likely coming soon for Native Rendering.

Smaller Clock on LockInfo

I just purchased LockInfo. I believe that when it was in beta, there was a way to replace the large default digital clock on the lockscreen with a much smaller clock that allowed more information to be shown on the screen. If I don't want to get involved with SSHing files and the like, is there a way to do this with the new version of LockInfo?

Also, is there a way to get the slider to be slimmer for the purpose of showing more information?

You can install any slider theme you want in Winterboard.

On the Beta repo there is a Clock plugin for Lockinfo. Also you can combine this with ClockHide to hide the default clock.

Do you have a recommended slider that takes up minimal real estate on the lockscreen?

what about this one? Slider by Dek_seeD

possible to move status bars anywhere you want?

Might be the work PC i'm on but I'm unable to search this specific thread.

Can anyone direct me if it's possible to move the Status bars for SMS/Email/Calendar?

The reason I has is because I have the clock hidden and using the MobileMe theme from Cydia. The Status bars are shoved to the very top and over the clock theme.

I'd like to be able to choose where the bars are located on the lockscreen. (Ex: How much spacing from the top)

Is there a setting I can modify somewhere? I've been looking around in iFile but unable to located anything resembling this.

Thanks :)

I use the "mini slider" them and also "clock hide". Then you'll want to enable "Extend to Bottom" in your LockInfo settings. Uses the entire screen and looks very classy IMHO.

Thanks everyone. I think i'm all set with mini slider, clock hide, and extend to bottom. Very nice.

I know this is gonna be a dumb question and I know I'll get slapped for it... but:

Is there anyway to theme LockInfo without installing that dreadful mostrosity known as Winterboard? I despise Winterboard like all hell. It kills my iPhone and makes it unusable.

Yea. You can copy the contents of the .theme to your SpringBoard.app.

So basically everthing in /Library/Themes/Katra.theme/com.apple.springboard/ gets pasted in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/ Should be a bunch of .png files and one .plist.

Then you can take out Winterboard.

just wanted to say thanks for this also, I didn't want to use winterboard either and this helped me out :)

Lockinfo runs a native version of the lockinfo screen, details are in this thread (probably spread out over last 5 pages or so)

Download:

"Clock Plugin for LockInfo" for a slimmer digital clock and date.
For this to work you will also need to download "Lockscreen Clock Hide"

"Lockscreen Dim Delay" is another good thing to have. So you have more time to view your lockscreen before it dims out.

If you use WinterBoard you can download the "Lockscreen Mini Slider".

Hope this helps.

What repo is:

Clock Plugin for LockInfo

under? I added David Ashman's repo, but is there another one?

You need to add "http://david.ashman.com/beta" and you will see it there. Keep in mind that it is in "BETA" so it may or may not work as you would expect an "official release" to work.

Good luck to you...
