Did you try codesunlocker.com? Received an email from them saying they can unlock 6 and 6+ but have not tried the service yet.

If still looking I've used these guys a few dozen times no problem.

used who?

Hello guys. I bought an Iphone 6+ in MA a week ago since I was there visiting. I live in Spain and the phone is locked to AT&T. Im trying to unlock it but most of the companies say that I have to activate the AT&T network... Does anyone know how to do it? Can I unlock it without doing it? I heard that this website works (www.swiftunlocks.com) but Im not sure if I have to activate the AT&T network.

Thank you!

What I did was place an ATT SIM card into the phone I want unlocked and used it for 5 mins just so it was technically on ATT's network. After that the unlock worked fine.

This seems a bit shady, I would see the point with other phones with this kind of code, but with the iPhones, Apple maintains the imei white list.

Also keep in mind most of the ebay unlocks say the phone needs to be out of contract., in addition to being clean etc.

At your own risk you can check this program:

Apple Unlock Code Generator 4.0

This program helped me, and I recommend it!

But decide for yourself whether or not you prefer to do this with specialists for ~$50.

Just want to confirm with others: is chronicunlocks.com legit? I've seen positive posts here, but also ones elsewhere saying its a scam.

I've only seen positive reviews, but haven't used their service. You can also take a look at Swift Unlock's website. They're about $75 for an iPhone 6 unlcok. I believe Chronic is charging $125 for the iPhone 6 unlock.

Chronic's 24 hour is $75 and their 7-day service is $60. But I'll check out Swift. Thanks.

Thanks for that. Clicked through and see those prices now. Shady advertising on their home page. May skip them just for that.

Cronic's pricing is $124.99 and $99.99 for the 6 and 6 plus. You have to hit the order unlock icon to see the actual cost.

The other day I had my iphone 6 replaced because of an issue with my Touch ID. So, I was thinking I would submit an unlock request right when I got home from the Apple Store, through the website at https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/client/en_US/ and I immediately got a successful unlock.

This might have been due to the system not fully transferring all my contract information for my old phone to my new phone yet (warranty, contract, etc...).

Previously when I tried unlocking through the AT&T site I immediately got an email rejection stating I didn't satisfy the requirements and my phone was under contract for 2 years. My iPhone 6 was purchased under 2 year contract with AT&T.

I just unlocked my AT&T iphone 6 under a new 2 years contract with the swiftunlock website. I paid $75. You will need a nano sim from another operator such as T-Mobile. I had to cut a micro sim in order to fit the iPhone tray. I followed the procedure and saw in iTunes the unlock message, I even received a message from Tmobile in my iTunes stating that I have to upgrade my iPhone with the operator parameters. However I have a no service signal and no tmobile detection on my iPhone. I hope this is just because my T-Mobile sim is really old and perhaps not anymore activated. I need to find a working nano Sim from from other operator to be sure it is working...

In order that AT&T unblock the phone you need to have paid the phone completely. So if you are under a 2 year contract, they will unblock the phone after 2 years ...

Actually most iphone sold is locked AT&T. Some people bought from ebay is outside US, some is in US but they didn't use AT&T before. Then AT&T form ask you unlock with current customer information. Where they get there info?
Better way using some unlock service.

Further more, some phone is blacklist (broken contract with ATT), using other unlock service is only way to use iphone (with some country carrier not in GSMA, so blacklist IMEI is legal)

So i read this as people are trying to get blacklisted or stolen phones unlocked. Gee, that sounds like something that might be illegal, or at least morally wrong. Could or should these unlock services be shutdown? I'm sure the costs of these phones that don't get paid for by the original owners get passed on to those of us that do fulfill our contract obligations.:(

iPhone 6 unlock at&t

Unlocks for iPhone 6 a little more expensive than for older iPhone models. This was also the case when iPhone 5S just released and then the prices flattened out. I got mine unlocked through unlockiPhone6.us but I am sure there are others good as well.

Just paid $76 this morning for Swift Unlocks iPhone 6 AT&T unlock. Has anyone used them recently (in the last week). I am leaving the country in Wed. evening and am really hoping they come through before then.

I paid $20 for another site (att-iphone-unlock.com/) which promised 1-10 business days and never came through (I ordered Nov. 21). I opened a case with Paypal and they refunded me within a few hours, that must mean a lot of others have requested refunds from them.

Any updates on Swift Unlocks is appreciated!
