What can they really do? If the customer is not a tech reviewer and didn’t signed a contract with the embargo lift date, the person isn’t bound to any legal obligation, there’s nothing illegal here, the fault is solely on the retailer

A coin battery WOULD warrant it, but I didn't know that the Mac Studio HAD one. To be confirmed? Nothing wrong with putting the warning on something that doesn't have it? Hurry up iFixit!

Any other iMac users looking forward to possibly returning to using a separate Mac and monitor? I really love my older 27" iMac but the idea of being able to choose the exact display I want and keep it across multiple system upgrades is getting more appealing as I think about it more.

I'm looking into getting one of those really huge 5K displays that fills my entire field of view. It'll be gorgeous!

Only bad thing about a separate monitor with a Mac is the lack of volume control from the keyboard unless you install 3rd party software or use the new Studio Display. Otherwise you’ll be reaching for the volume buttons on the monitor.

When the bottom and back of the device is far more beautiful than the top and front.

For a second I considered the idea of placing it upside down but the heat dispersion system was designed deliberately with the air intake on the bottom.

Try this app! Should work with most modern displays. Certainly works well with my 16” M1 Pro + Dell P2415Q monitor.

When are the going to put the damned headphone jack FACING the user? I will never understand why it is always on the back side. Just stupid that you have to get out of your chair to plug in/unplug a headphone jack.

Probably because more people connect it to an amplifier or powered speakers than to headphones.
