They were fixed with 10.3.3 for my dual G4/800. Hopefully, they have it figured out now.
Well, of course I spoke too soon... the bug is still there for me.

Under 10.3.4, at least for me, Stickies is listed as 3.0 in the Finder and 4.2 in the About box.achmafooma said:That's what I thought.
Any idea why a Stickies app. with one documented bug fix, one undocumented (but very welcome) bug fix, and one change in features (now we can 'check spelling as you type' in our Stickies) would bring it from 3.0 to 4.2?
The app. is essentially unchanged. It seems to be a 3.1 release to me. Even if they were going to bump up the version number, why 4.2? What happened to 4.0 and 4.1?
Well I suppse you could try that SilentNight thing that others have claimed have worked for them. And if anyone knows of an easier way then what I did please feel free to add.guiman said:---
How exactly does one go about doing this? Or does anyone have a simpler solution?

Teronke said:Has anyone installed the 10.3.4 update on a 12' Rev A Powerbook????
Does it fix the fan issue that started with 10.3.2????
That's just part of the G5's personality.. It's letting you know how much power it has and how much you're not using it.denm316 said:Well it didnt fix my G5 problem, you guys know the one, where all the fans turn on at full blast and it sounds like it is going to take off.
altair said:mine works perfectly fine and dandy, nothing is broken and safari seems faster.
have never had a problem with any update.
Just thought I would throw this in so people dont think this effects every single person updating.
joshuawaire said:Just updated. New powerbook 15.2" 1.5Ghz failed to restart. All I would get is a black screen... no Apple logo. Had to take the battery out three times and let the notebook sit, after about 10 tries pressing the power button, it finally booted on. I haven't restarted since, calling Apple tommorow.
Little irritated to say the least. Ohh and my battery meter reports my battery is completely dead even though its not.

10.2.8 was notoriously bad...
and 10.3.0 really played havoc with the preferances of those who started using Filevault...
Apart from this the updates has been harmless, but I think those two is lurking in the back of a couple of minds...![]()
