Just updated my Pismo, have yet to update the Tibook. Thank god for my fast internet connection, it downloaded and installed in about 15 minutes, maby a little less. Haven't really noticed any changes, except that maby it boots a little faster? Possibly a placebo affect, haha. Anyway...so far I haven't noticed any unstabilities in it, or faults...yet, lets hope this is a nice stable build.
Updated my mini, now it won't connect to the internet!
Just upgraded my intel mac mini...and after rebooting it can no longer connect to the internet! Connects to my wireless router fine but can't get any further. My PPC powerbook connects fine...so it seems like something stuffed up! Any ideas? Any way to roll this change back?

ive noticed that i get the beachball in safari at times that i didnt used to. not sure if the update is the cause though or its just a temporary thing. anyone else notice a change in safari performance?

try to manually enter the DNS adresses in your mini's settings. Has worked for me before..

Try changing the power settings for the adapter (system prefs). It sounds like it is set to 'better performance' when the adapter is plugged in and so it canes your processor and so it runs faster, louder etc.

Software update said the installation failed so I pressed quit and then it wouldn't open again so I tried rebooting my intel imac 20" and now it's been stuck on the white screen with the apple logo and the spinning thing for about an hour. Try saying that out loud without taking a breath.

I just noticed something
My macbook doesn't have any heat issues. highest temperature is 129 deg f.

Reboot with DVD that came with the machine [holding down C on the KB] and do repair permission and repair volume. I tried the auto update three times, installer crashed with "unknown error". Did manual install, same thing, after reboot, my machine sat at the apple logo login screen [but had no username prompt] Repaired volume [only possible from the DVD] and now the installer has completed. With the equal positive/negative ratings, and all these issues many people seem to be having... I am too scared to run this on my G4 iBook
I don't have any "issues" with my iBook really... It runs perfectly great... so should I just avoid this update altogether? Or temporarily?

Well everything was fine (better actually)
But after my machine goes to screen saver mode/display shuts off, it won't respond anymore?
All I can do is to reboot by holding the power button, it has now happened twice
The second time (now) when I try to open some apps they open but don't show the window only the menubar ?

I want to know when *this* is going to get fixed:
Safari STILL does not render thumbnails linking to videos on our streaming server correctly. It is ONLY Safari that does this.

Firefox (or any other browser for that matter):
See how the thumbnails in Safari are all zoomed in and blurry? This is pulling up the same page on the server...Safari just doesn't render them properly. Plus, Safari pulls these pages up REALLY slowly. It's kind of weird that browsers made by other companies (including IE for Windows) pull it up faster and with the thumbnails displayed correctly.

i installed the update this afternoon but didnt really notice anything diffrent. except tonight i tried to play some music on Front Row and i kept getting a message that says my computer isn't authorized to play this song. this is strange since the songs i have tried to play weren't bought from itunes or have any other sort of DRM. anyone else having the same problem.
Just got back from a couple of days at Bowling Green, KY. Corvette Museum and factory tour, Mammoth Caves too. Saw the update. Download went very quickly....guess I missed the rush. Install was quick. Everything working a-ok. Adium is up and running. Have to see if I can transfer files between my son's PC as this wasn't working. Happy camper so far. Cheers
