It's been touched on slightly but I think there could be some truth to the wireless hub concept that has been disussed, however I would offer some tweaks. This "brick" will be an opportunity to move many of the bulky pieces currently in the MacBook (or Pro) to a remote/desktop location would allow for huge space/weight reduction, could increase the storage capacity/performace of the head laptop unit, and would fit with Apple's commitment to simplicity/eliminating wires.
I nominate the Powerbook 1400 as the all-time "Brick".
my two cents... "brick" reminds me of Lego and something that plugs one to another, just the way that apple patent describes it. it would definitely be an interesting concept: a Macbook dockable in your home screen.
I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but iTunes8 updated the preferences window so that it worked on a 1024x600 screen (I use an Acer 4211). In iTunes7 the OK/Cancel buttons dissappeared off the bottom of the screen due to the window being too tall. Does this mean Apple are preparing for a smaller screen device?? Or something running at 16:9??
Does anyone know of a brick that has a 16:9 ratio?
^ Return of the Pismo? Modular drive bays?
Brick might also mean we are finally getting a G5 notebook.

And then the iphone was born......
Hopefully laptops and the Mac pro remain the bread and butter of their computer lines and take precedence. Though i do beleive the Mac Pro is last on the list of what needs an upgrade.
