Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Mine changed yesterday to shipped! I was under 3-4 weeks category, ordered on june 14. Estimated delivery July 11th, but that's because I live in Dubai :p

Same for me. Ordered mine 6/14 shortly after midnight local time (Cleveland, Ohio / USA). Can hardly wait!
 
Duration of Preparing for Shipment?

How long does the preparing for shipment phase usually last?

I first noticed going into this stage Thursday night EDT.
 
Does anyone know if they do shipping on Saturdays? I ordered a 2.3/16/256 on June 15th (mid-afternoon). I was hoping it would ship today but apparently not, so was wondering if there's a chance it'll ship tomorrow.
 
As I expected. It did not arrive. In fact, checking the Fedex tracker, it no longer shows when it will arrive. Prior to 10:30am (original delivery time) it said today by 10:30am, now shows nothing.

That sucks. I've actually been waiting to see a post from you. I knew you were a day ahead of me, so I was hoping (despite the lack of tracking information) that somehow FedEx still delivered to you by 10:30 today. Very frustrating that FedEx couldn't even make the delivery date they committed to you....I wonder what in the world is going on over there.

Forgot to add....you should try calling FedEx directly since they've now officially missed your delivery time. Maybe you can get some answers, find out what happened, or perhaps arrange to pick up at a local FedEx facility if it's just sitting there somewhere. I'm sure several of us would be curious to hear what you find out. Unfortunately FedEx won't talk to me, despite the lack of tracking updates, since my deliver date isn't until Monday (and thus they haven't missed it yet).

The FedEx guy blamed customs. He said it was held up in AK by customs and when released, it missed the flight. He said when it finally made it out of AK, it was on a delayed flight. The flight out of Memphis already left before my package arrived so it missed the flight to RDU.

The worst is now the tracking page does not list the delivery info and he said it should be Monday but could be as late as Tuesday.

Since the delivery info is missing now, I will have to resort to presigning delivery because I can not sit home for another day or possibly two to see when it arrives. That sucks because if it is damaged, I will have to deal with Apple to get it resolved.

Not blaming :apple: but I am really pissed at FedEx.

Now says "Ship date Jun 29, 2012 Estimated delivery Jul 3, 2012 by 10:30 AM"

I suspect you'll be on FX90 to Memphis departing in about 30 minutes. My rMBP took this route last Thursday and arrived at my door all the way on the west coast Friday morning... pretty impressive turnaround from FedEx.

That sucks. It sounds like they're just pointing the finger. Even if it was on a delayed flight, wondering why there is no tracking information of it being on that flight. Something sinister is going on there in FedEx. Do you have a FedEx facility near you? Wondering if you could request to pick it up after work rather than pre-signing. I completely understand your hesitance to blanket pre-sign for something so expensive....especially given how FedEx has already botched this up so far.
 
Now the computer sits in Amsterdam over the weekend.

It went on a truck in the middle of the night from Frankfurt to Amsterdam.

So, from Amsterdam it will sure be TNT or UPS that takes over the shipment.
Apple has now charged me for the whole computer and I got a bill( invoice) by email today.
