Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

My original date is for Monday. Mine was on that same Alaska to Memphis flight as yours. Shows leaving for memphis at 6:01pm. That is still what it shows today. Did yours ever show being sent FROM memphis to your local airport?

On another note...It is amazing that Apple gave you that $100 ! What is your original APPLE delivery date span? Mine is July 2 to July 9 so I would say that as long as I get it my the 9th, then Apple is in the green.

What was your original "spread"?

Original was July 2-9. Shipped early but was held up three times; once in China, once in AK, and now in Memphis. Original delivery was today by 10:30am. FedEx tracking no longer shows a delivery date and the FedEx guy I spoke to said "Monday or Tuesday".

shipped. just got the email... revised delivery date is July 4th...

Hehe... No? Should it have done that? Mine went: Shanghai - Almaty - Frankfurt - Amsterdam. And then it would be TNT or UPS that takes charge from there to Sweden.

No plane, that last line says its staying in Shanghai today.
You'll see a "shipment" release before it gets put on a plane.

They say delivery on july 6th at 10:30 am ! I took the upgrade on apple store 2-3 days . I know there is the july 4th but why should i upgrade it if it takes 7days !?

Woot..........Just got email that my order from June 14th on a 512/16 has shipped with expected arrival on July 6th. Does anyone know if there is a way to speed up shipping? Can you call fed ex and pay the upcharge to get it faster? I didnt see anything like that on their tracking site.

No...you can only call and say you will pick it up at the local fedex office in the same city of the delivery address....however, in my opinion, you should let it get to you on the 6th. You are taking a big chance having someone PULL it out of the natural process !

I think we CA people stuck in AK will have to wait until Tuesday next week since FedEx flight 86 operates between AK and OAK only Monday through Thursday's.

Every delivery goes to AK even for packages to East coast ?

Its too far for most planes to make the trip directly with any margin for error in fuel.

Fedex DOES have a few routes that fly directly to Memphis with their 777 freighters but most of the others (and perhaps even that one when loaded heavy) cant do it in one shot.
