Looks like it's going on the flight in 30 minutes :)

Yup, mine too... The route through Memphis is quick, you'll likely have it on Monday even though FedEx shows estimated delivery Tuesday (for me anyway).

Now the computer sits in Amsterdam over the weekend.

It went on a truck in the middle of the night from Frankfurt to Amsterdam.

So, from Amsterdam it will sure be TNT or UPS that takes over the shipment.
Apple has now charged me for the whole computer and I got a bill( invoice) by email today.

"Ready for Delivery
SHANGHAI, CHINA TO AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS
Elect. Import Customs Rls: 29-Jun-2012 08:19:00 GMT"

"30-Jun-2012 15:00:00 CEST Requested Delivery Date
29-Jun-2012 07:07:00 CEST At Final Destination AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS (AMS) LH7708I/2 AMS T53K6387 ACT"

Didn't your mbpr take the way over Prague?

So I just spoke with FedEx regarding my incoming package... Even tho it will hit south Florida tonight, it won't be released for delivery until Monday because the container it's shipped in has a dedicated delivery of Monday, pfffft, ***** apple......

This is confusing to me. According to the FedEx tracking page, it left at 2PM 6/29 in the Pacific time zone......which is 6 hours from now....???

Check the selected TimeZone. If it's set to 'origin' it's showing the time in Shanghai

Late June 13 order with original "Ships: 3 - 4 Weeks. Delivers Jul 11 - Jul 17 via 2-3 Business Days"

Now says "Ship date Jun 29, 2012 Estimated delivery Jul 3, 2012 by 10:30 AM"

BTO Retina 2.6/16/512 to Los Angeles

I got very excited when I read this. I'm a late 13th order as well for the same config, and an originally estimated July 15th delivery. Unfortunately for me, I don't have a way to actively track mine as it was ordered via Ingram Micro (to get the reseller discount my company offers for employee purchases). Keeping my fingers crossed!

does this always happen? like will the fedex estimate always be overruled by the apple estimate??

In this case, CST means China Standard Time, or UTC+8.

Pacific daylight time is UTC-7.

Gotcha... Yet, that's +15 hours from here. Which is about 11:30PM June 29. The most recent scan on my FedEx tracking page is:
Jun 30, 2012 1:57 PM | In transit | SHANGHAI CN

As far as I can tell, it is not yet 1:57PM on June 30th anywhere in the world.. Considering that's more than 24 hours from now.

Updated to "Shipped" this morning. Tracking says it will arrive on July 3rd. I am guessing it will come the 2nd based on other people's shipping times.

Nearest I can tell, this is our flight. I'm just going to hold on to that and follow its updates incessantly.

In the mean time you should call apple and try to get some free stuff. Just got off the phone and managed to get a free SuperDrive  I'm also in South FL...rMBP is scheduled for a July 3rd delivery can't wait!

I think so too, because there was nothing that stated that the cutoff date was missed and I don't think you can clear customs for outbound shipping unless you would actually be putting it on a plane.

WOW! Apple comes through!

So, if you read my last couple of posts, you will see that my order is sitting in Memphis because FedEx could not get it to me today as originally shown. Calling them got a [paraphrased] "Not our fault, customs delayed it...it will be there Monday or Tuesday".

FedEx would not listen so I called Apple. Yes, I realize Apple is not at fault. They did their part and built it and even shipped it early. For that, I am grateful. My intent in calling Apple was to express my displeasure with their shipping choice. The most I expected was a customary apology and the promise to send off my complaint to upper management about my issue with FedEx.

Wrong! It was a lot more! Not only did the Apple rep apologize for my situation but she credited my account $100 for my trouble!

Hey FedEx, that is ***** customer service! Learn from it!

When was it originally quote for delivery? Also, did you have any edu/biz discount on the purchase?

Pretty sure i'm not getting it today. My superdrive went out for delivery at 8:30 to a local Fedex store, and there has been no update on the rMBP yetz

Scheduled for 10:30 AM today and the tracker showed that until 10:30 when it disappeared and no longer showed delivery info.

No, no discounts. Regular order so I paid full price. But now I get $100 back which I plan to use to buy the Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter when it releases next month.

Wonder if the original price factors into it. I'm on edu discount and was bumped to 2-3day shipping without asking, but was never offered anything else.

My original date is for Monday. Mine was on that same Alaska to Memphis flight as yours. Shows leaving for memphis at 6:01pm. That is still what it shows today. Did yours ever show being sent FROM memphis to your local airport?

On another note...It is amazing that Apple gave you that $100 ! What is your original APPLE delivery date span? Mine is July 2 to July 9 so I would say that as long as I get it my the 9th, then Apple is in the green.

What was your original "spread"?

WTH! Looks like I'm not getting it tomorrow unless it's a plane to California!

hey can you post you tracking info what happened next?
since mine is exactly matching with yours on time front and details I just want to know how it goes and predict when it will be in my hand
