Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I ordered the base-model MBPR shortly after the keynote and Fedex says I should have it Monday morning.

I'm in NYC and it's on a plane headed to Newark Airport. Reallllly hoping it gets to me tomorrow. Good luck!

I am confused. My e-mail states Ships in 2-3 weeks
but also says Delivers Jul 3 - Jul 10. (Which is really 3-4 weeks)

2-3 weeks would be Jun 26 - Jul 3.

Go figure.

I have the same setup. Let Me know when yours ships. I am still in processing. Ordered 5pm pacific Monday but shows shipping as 3-4 weeks. Next day people ordering same config show 2-3 weeks

ship date is different than the date you receive it.

You and me both (though I'm in Central NJ). That plane is set to arrive at 2:30 EDT, though, so I don't think we'll get our packages until Monday. This is because by 6AM the package would need to be processed at EWR, handed over to a FedEx sorting facility which then processes it again before shipping it out (the package would need to be given to the driver before he/she sets out on his/her route at around 6AM).

Maybe FedEx will hand over the package to USPS who can then deliver on Saturday.
 
Can we get some proof/confirmation from anyone who ordered the baseline rmbp Monday afternoon/night with a 2-3 week shipping time that theirs has in fact shipped. I smell a troll.

Edit: make that anyone who ordered with a 2-3 week lead time regardless of the model. I am just specifically interested in the baseline because that's what I ordered at 5:30 pst Monday
 
People think we are crazy for doing things like checking the flight FedEx has our computers on (actually not mine... yet)! It is always good to keep informed; it is in no way obsessive! :D

Happens every apple launch. The iPhone 4s one was way worse. Threads created for specific flights. Very entertaining torture we subject ourselves to

I ordered mine at the basic same time you did... Hoping the status will change soon......
 
I am just sitting back in wait mode wondering when mine will change from the evil "processing" screen to something different...be happy all of you that has prepped for shipping or has shipped. I ordered mine at 430EST on Monday and it seems comparatively to others I will be getting mine later than most. I just hope I can receive it before Jun 26...I am so stoked I cant wait to even just unbox it lol

Aw man I was afraid of that :( I just wasn't sure of the timing...let's carpool to the airport and beg...
 
For people who says it shipped but no update, it was probably flying PVG-MEM on FX 90 which just landed half an hour ago. Pretty crazy, flight landed at 11:26 CDT and my package was off the plane scanned as arrived in Memphis less then 20 minutes after.

Mine was on 90 as well. Now sitting in Memphis. I was targeted for delivery Monday. However, I did the "hold at location" thing since I won't be home all day Monday. Shortly after I did it, FedEx called me to say there was a chance it'd be here tomorrow at the local Kinko's.

Hopefully I can make one of the two night flights to OAK (I checked, there are two tonight) and maybe I'll have a new toy this weekend...
 
Remember the FEDEX flights have to go to their hub before it gets transported to you. So it will take longer. For UPS it went from China>Alaska>Louisville>Me(California)

Interesting...maybe I should do hold at location as well? I'm in SF...they have multiple flights to OAK and SFO from MEM so FX could get it to us tomorrow if they wanted to...whether they do it or not we'll see...
