Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

So it looks like we are up to the 15th orders for uk eu etc? My god this is taking ages.

If this is any indication (which I doubt, due to people's varied experiences), then I'm six days away from 'preparing for shipment'. I think it's pretty sad that people that ordered on the 11th still haven't received notice that their shipments are processing. That would really depress me, though I suppose there's a lot more in life to be depressed about than delayed gratification.

I also paid more for expedited shipping, received my notification that it would ship today, and it's scheduled for friday. Not sure what good that $15 was for if it's taking 5 days instead of 2-3 days.

Mine shipped out the 28th I paid for NEXT day... $23.00 mine is expected to deliver this morning. I wouldn't complain..

2.3/16/256 ordered on 12th (but via Wire Transfer, got confirmation eMail on 18th), just changed to preparing for shipment. Didn't remember my exact username, so I'm listed as cerveza. Estimated delivery was 18-24th of July.

Guess I'll be calling the local stores to see if any arrived there. Unless it ships shortly, it won't make it here for my vacation! The time I planned away from work to set it up. Really, really bummed as I thought it would be good news this morning!

I'm in the same boat... ordered a 2.6/16/768 shortly after the store opened back up and still processing this morning. This is getting very frustrating.

Mine is on the truck for delivery! Fed-ex estimated Friday the 6th, apple estimated the 11th - 17th, I ordered on the 13th.

But, of course, I've had fedex load things on the truck and never show, claiming they didn't have time to deliver that day... so we'll see.

Ironically, my free superdrive is at the local fedex location with a status of
"Package not due for delivery"

Well, let's see if I get my 2.7/16/768 MBPr today. FedEx finally got off their *** and shipped it from Memphis to Raleigh last night.

Here is my story:

1. It tried to leave China on June 26 but missed cutoff
2. It left China 24 hours later on June 27
3. It arrived in AK on the same day but was held up by customs
4. It then missed the plane
5. It released and left AK on June 28th
6. It arrived in Memphis early on the 29th but missed the first flight to NC and not sent on subsequent flights
7. The 29th by 10:30 was my delivery day but when that came and went, the delivery info on FedEx's site disappeared
8. Last night, July 1, it left Memphis and flew to NC

Now, there is still no update on FedEx's site but I ASSUME it delivers today. However, when I spoke to FedEx Friday, they said it could be Monday OR Tuesday.

To Apple's credit, they apologized for the shipping issue and credited my account $100 for my trouble. wins again. FU FedEx.

I guess I missed out again.

The FedEx trucks load up and ship out by 6:30-7:00. As of 8:35, no movement. Guess today is not the day.

I guess it is time to call Apple Care. They marked my AC active as of last Tuesday when it shipped. and seeing as how I have not received it, I want my full 3 years worth. I think I shall ask them to change my active date.

-- FedEx update @ 8:51 am EDT = I called FedEx and they claim it will be delivered today but could not tell if on the "before 10:30" truck, or afternoon truck. We'll see.

lol its hard not to keep checking, its in the back of my mind as much as I try not to let it bug me! I did think it would speed up a bit after the initial rush but its been 3 weeks since release and we havent even got through the first week yet!

Ordered a base retina display model with the memory upgrade on Jun 12th around 1:00 PM EST. Apple gave me an estimate of 2-3 weeks, with an estimated delivery date between Jul 2 - July 9.

Thanks to everyone for posting updates to make the waiting game a little bit more bearable.

Another 768

I've been a long-time lurker. Misery loves company, so I thought I'd share another data point.

Ordered 2.6/16/768, EDU discount, about 20 minutes after the online store re-opened on 6/11. Quoted 3-5 weeks. No movement since then; still shows "Processing." Sounds like I'm not alone.

Here's my question, although I suspect no one outside of Cupertino knows the answer: why were the shipping estimates for the 768 model in flux during the first 48 hours?

I can understand why Apple would want to keep its delivery estimates, so I can see the logic in shipping out some 2-3 week orders before earlier 3-5 week orders. But the threshold question is why estimates shifted from 3-5 weeks, then to 2-3 weeks, then to 3-4 weeks, all within just a day or two? That's the piece I can't figure out. I haven't seen it discussed much on this forum. Any ideas?
