Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Ok - so it's 9:24 Tuesday morning in China. Hope those computer builders work quickly and get those 2.7/16/768 on the truck today for those of us who ordered on 06/11. Of course, for those of us in the US - FedEx doesn't work on Wednesday so our computers will just sit somewhere over the 4th of July if they leave the factory.
 
I ordered a 2.7/16/768 and my order confirmation email arrived to me 2:12 PM PDT on June 11.

Did anyone get charged for the apple gift card EDU DISC. How does that work
out do you get that back ?

u spent over 3 grand for ur retina macbook pro....?
 
Anyone else afraid of hitting the cancel button on Apples order status page? Every time I check (which is frequent) I purposely move the cursor away from the cancel button. It's the largest button on the page! I've been "processing" for two weeks and don't want to go to the back of the line. Ordered retina 2.6/16/512 on the 18th.

Apple quoted me 12th to 18th July.

Actual arrival 2nd July.

I think the stock is recovering.

It finally arrived. My 2.7/16/768 is fast. It has taken me 4 hours to get everything set like I want it. Went from 91% battery at unboxing to 34% 4 hours later.

Now to start digging into this retina thing and see if it is as good as I had hoped. I just went and downloaded some retina-sized wallpaper to load.

Wow, how long after it went to preparing did it take for you to get it. Seems like you've waited longer then avg.

i think u should give them a call. Altogether I called them a total of 4 times to ask about my order, and why some people who ordered later than me had theirs shipped already, and then just a few days ago my card was charged and now its status have changed. Gd luck!!

I ordered on 6/11 @ 9:38 PM EDT. Online store. No discounts. Shipped last Tuesday but delivered today because of FedEx screwups. Technically arrived on the original delivery date quoted by :apple: as July 2-9 so it came as promised though it could have arrived sooner had FedEx went smoother.

Yeah, I reflexively think it's the "order status" button: It's almost as if it says "CLICK ME!". :)
 
I hate that not all of the 6/11-12 768GB'ers haven't shipped yet.... not because I pity them and want them to get theirs, but because it means they have priority over me while FoxConn is frantically trying to make them.

1st world problems.

it's pretty clear that those of use who ordered 768s on 6/11 do not have priority over those who ordered later, even as late as 6/26. your chances of getting your machine are probably better than ours.
