I havent got another computer here but i swapped f5 with " page down".

Hopefully my order will change to " preparing to ship" before i run out of keys to swap

I am sooo tempted to click it. It would, at least, end the waiting . . .

I feel the same way. I am very frustrated with Apple right now. Seriously, I spent more than 5K, on the laptop and a Thunderbolt Display, which has been sitting in the box, in my apartment, for more than two weeks now. It sucks.

Glad to see you're still here. I'm driving myself insane with checking the order page! I keep hoping that my eyes are playing tricks and I'll see "Shipped" but no luck. I also keep checking my CC but only see the AppleCare charge from June 12. I wonder if my Apple Care will expire on June 12 or when I finally get my computer!

Yeah, we'll, I wouldn't say that I am glad to see you around, since that means that we are still waiting for this thing. But it is comforting that I am not the only one with the frozen status.

I really want to see you posting a change in your status. Hopefully that will bring me luck with my laptop. I think we placed the order almost at the same time.

It is 11:50pm right now. I just get anxious going to sleep with that sense of anticipated frustration, broken with a vanishing sense of hope, about refreshing the status tomorrow morning.

Lots of rMBP being shipped by Korean Air today to Amsterdam1

it seems that at least the US has a much quicker delivery system once it's left CN. My UK order is going to take a week to get half way across the uk. (already taken 4 days to get out of heathrow airport!) be thankful you don't have to deal with the stupid fulfilment centre we do here.

I got mine today and it is kick ass....no lag or any of that other BS. Your day will come Pinky.

Ok gang...as you know, I'm a 12th'er. I got the machine today. I jumped on it at 5pm central and am still on it at midnight. It is kick ass. No lag on this baby. I edited video in final cut pro. Fast and amazing. The best thing is the "cueing" of the video. As you move the "playhead" manually, the video flows by perfectly...no jumping, bumping or little round circular "wait" balls in my way.

I haven't seen one issue with this thing and I tried out some heavy stuff. Aperture, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Gimp, youtube 4K vids....All flawless.

Times have changed....I can never go back to mediocre again. Microsoft software and the PC hardware makers have some catching up to do.

On another note...don't cancel your orders...your day will come...you will get the bad ass soon and you will be bragging on it like me....

....just calm the hell down and relax....it will be there soon !!!!!

I went to the apple store twice a day for a whole week. (I work a block away from one so it wasnt as retarded as it sounds) and managed to pick one up. Of course immediately canceled my order after.
It's worth trying if you're looking for the base model.

Can't win the lottery if you don't play :p

i chatted online with an Apple rep and asked them when the Apple Care expires. it is one year from when the MAC shows up at the place of delivery.

Complimentary Support is one year, but phone support for only 90 days. Apple Care will add on an additional 2 years. My computer life span is typically no more than 2-3 years before an upgrade, and I suspect with the Haswell chips and updated graphics cards around the corner, I'll be upgrading within 2 years for the bump. Annoying there isn't a way to choose the length of my support plan.

.... Of course none of this matters to me so long as us 11th/June 768ers don't have laptops.

Man it doesn't feel like it has moved much these past few days. Apple have got like 100 freaking billion in the bank they should just buy another dam factory!

Apple, like the amazing company they are are replacing my old early 2009 unibody 17 inch with a nice brand new 2012 Macbook Pro 15 (non-retina) 2.6 i7 750GB drive and 8GB memory..

My machine is the machine that kept on giving.. sadly right at the end.. it had 3 logic board failures.. and well they decided to just give me a new one. :apple:

That's a company right there..

it'll just tell you that in order to cancel your order you'll have to contact a rep. over the phone. i tried it a few days ago.

I was able to cancel my 16/256 on the 20th without calling, just did it through the website. But if anyone in front of me wants to try it I'm cool with that :p

You guys are gonna love your new laptop once you have it. Sooooooo worth the wait:) I can't believe all the complaints after playing with mine:eek:

This is one mighty fine machine:D

Ordered MBPR 2.3GHz/16MB @ online Apple Store on 6/13/'12. This was the day when the shipping was stretched to 3-4 weeks (MacRumors had a front page story on that). "Estimated delivery date 6/13-20".

Nothing changed for a long time in the order status but on last friday it said: "Order is in work". And yesterday it changed two times from "Preparing shipping" to "Order shipped". (Sorry I don't know the exact english expressions.)

Shipment status: "Estimated Delivery Date Jul 05, 2012" :apple::):apple:

Read carefully all the reviews (AnandTech, Ars Technica). Where can I find a good explanation of Thunderbolt in relationship to Apple/MBP? (My actual MBP is from mid 2007.) TIA.

Anybody have any idea where mine could be? Or a flight that it is on?
- Listed by Apple for delivery on Thursday (5th)

Thanks!

 Need I say more! Another morning with the dreaded word "processing". I suspect our computers will travel together (if they ever release) and will be fond friends when they make it home!
