Try to get some perspective. They ordered the laptops from Apple just like you did. Arguably they are more important than you since they ordered about 100x the number you did.
It's the fact that authorised resellers have 16gb machines and the apple retail stores don't. Seems like an oversight to me.
If only they had shipped our orders out a day earlier, probably could have gotten them before the weekend.. I'm wondering if theres any possible way to pick it up at the fed ex over the weekend. I'll be out of time on estimate date!
Here's a question for you FedEx experts: my rMBP is either still in Shanghai or else it's in the air out of Shanghai. I'll be in Minnesota all next week, not my home near Boston. Can I change the shipping address to my hotel in Minnesota? Or, barring that, can I have it held at a FedEx location near my hotel?

Anyone who tracks theirs using Expeditors (Europe orders only maybe?) is is supposed to show information straight away? Mine just says it's going from Shanghai to London by method 'air' and that's it. Below it just says no data in table.
My delivery estimate just dropped from 19th to 18th, once Apple updated my proper UPS tracking number. I should have it on Wednesday! Officially left Shanghai, anybody else in the same shipment as I am?

We ordered on the EXACT same day and SAME config. Hopefully our orders will finally move. Did you get a 3-5 weeks estimate?

It must've changed status to Preparing for Shipment sometime in the evening or night.. or skipped it altogether.

That means that the package arrived at FedEx too late to begin transit today. Will wait until next business day to begin movement.
