The good for you wasn't sarcastic, it was genuine.. but I am PO'd that I ordered before you and got shafted, there has been quite a few same configuration that were ordered after me that shipped already..

I received the Government discount..

strange my friend had a government discount he ordered on 7/1 and his is arriving today! 2.6/16/768 btw. I always figured that he got his faster because he was government haha

I did order with an EDU discount.

Since you don't seem to like the positive outlook, allow me to change my previous encouraging remark to the following:

Your laptop is never coming. They are using the parts from random orders to create a giant robot monster that they can infuse with the iCloud housed digitized soul of the recently departed Steve Jobs.

Unfortunately, they are not aware that the digital soul is corrupted and angry.

The robot Steve Jobs monster will find all people whose laptops have not yet been shipped and it will eat them.

So my rMBP just delivered (somewhere on campus).
i attached my shipment progress table for those of you curious on the specific paths it took to get to ottawa, canada.
i will probably stop reading this post now :p (unless you guys quote me ;))

6/12er here:

Orignal delivery date was jul 3 - jul 9th

Actual delivery date was Jun 26th....

So all in all it was only 2 weeks....so this beats waiting in line for 6 hours.

Now...for release of iphone....online is the way to go.....will get phone 2 -3 days before goes on sale at stores.

Mine seems to be saying the same as yours... however, I think the estimated delivery is to apple...then apple will give it to UPS to get it to us on thursday hopefully! :D

Argh... Apple tried to process my card last night and triggered the fraud protection. Flag on the play, delay of game and all that.... :(

Ditto! Just got mine! One day before Fedex expected delivery date, two days before Apple's expected delivery date. Only two days, but I think we're spoiled from getting our orders early from Apple. :p

Currently transferring my Time Machine backup... USB 3.0 is so fast.. a few dozen gigabytes in 5 minutes. Now I wonder if there is a way to browse the Time Machine backup to see what other files I could restore that I didn't select.
 
Ordered a 2.9 MBP 13" w/128 SSD last tuesday, one week later, been saying shipped for the past 5 days, no tracker info, nothing at all.

Nice misleading 'Dispatched 1-3 days' at the store. If I had known it would take this long I would have foregone the SSD and popped into the Apple store!

Frustrating.

Estimated delivery date of Friday. If it was MPB Retina, I would understand...

What Bank do you have? I was thinking of calling mine ahead(chase) to note my account.

also, for anyone else who already received their order. when was the money deducted? before preparing, at the time of or at shipment?

Ordered 6/22 Config: 2.7/16/512 still processing

6/27 here with a base model, has been on Preparing for Shipment for almost 24h.
 
just spoke to Apple to make sure there wasn't any hold ups with the payment..

he mentioned that he saw notes from my last call, in which I informed him the last guy was a rude jackass and put me on hold for 25 minutes in order to talk to his manager..

he put the expedited shipping which means its possible I may have it by the 24th, new range is 24th-30th (old was 25th-31st)

he also comp'd me a SuperDrive

he was definitely much nicer than the other guy
 
Got mine today, one day earlier than initially announced.

Just setting up my dual HDD system now.

14 days from order to deliver, man I'm so jealous... Coming on 3 weeks with no change from processing for me
 
Mine arrives today, 3 days ahead of the estimated date, but because of this i wasn't home and i got a slip through the door. Arranged for it to be delivered to my work tomorrow.

Now i'm stuck with the predicament of waiting a week for ML before i set it up to use it as my new machine, i dont want to waste time installing everything and copying it over, to do it again in a week. I was thinking of being naughty and obtaining the GM and just running that, then claiming my free update when it's released. I've read you can't do a clean install as it asks for an Apple ID or something?

I didn't get the retina even though I paid the same (I actually used the edu discount) because the thickness/weight didn't matter to me and I don't think the GPU is quite ready to push those extra pixels for heavy graphics tasks (I plan on playing some games and don't want to downscale to a non-native resolution because of the screen quality downgrade).

Either way, I think I'm going to be plenty happy with the Hi-Res since it is still an upgrade from my 2008 PRE-unibody 1440x MBP.

I'm excited, I even bought a rain stand with it. :)
