Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I ordered my rMBP today. I would think it will not ship until after August first...so I should get it with ML and not have to upgrade. I would hope the factory would change to ML the day ML is officially released for downloads. I guess that remains to be seen.
I'd also be interested in this, does anyone have any idea?
But I don't think that macs that shipped before July 25th will have mountain lion; simple answer: if anybody had got it too early, they'd have been able to send out details about the soon-to-be-released golden master?
(not that the golden master isn't already out, but I expect the final one that will be released tomorrow will have things like a different built code etc. etc.)

I ordered mine on June 29th, via Italian EDU store, they haven't given me neither the tracking number nor any courier service information, apple simply states it will reach me on July 31st.
I want a tracking number, I have arrangements to take for July 31st, I can't' stay home all the ****ing day!
28/6, august 1 is my estimated delivery. Still hasn't moved, the status is now ready for delivery so it has cleared the customs though.
I was supposed to receive the gift card July 4-5, I waited till July 12 and it never showed up so I called them and cancelled it thinking it was either lost or stolen..I asked them to send me a new card instead, but once the cancelled the gift card they basically told me that they would credit my account (credit card) and that if i wanted a new gift card i could just purchase one from the itunes store... so it does work out, I saved a $100, didnt really need the gift card anyways

Funny thing is the cancelled gift card showed up on July 13 (of course one day after i call and complain about it being late and cancelling it).... for mountain lion, I believe that apple has a promo on for anyone who got a 2012 Mac (link below) I think all you do is register once ML is released and you can pretty much download a free copy of ML (worth $19.99)

Merge in transit? no i dont think it was - at least i didnt see anything like that on the FedEx or Apple websites for my order
Estimated delivery was July 30- Aug 3 but I called them and they gave me expedited shipping for free (although i had to call a few times to get it) with the estimated delivery of July 27-Aug 2 but it showed up today July 24 at 11:30 am and its still in the box as im at work for another 49 minutes! cant wait to get home and open it
What does your Apple Order Status show? if its still on "processing" you wont get any shipping number.. once it goes to "shipped" you will see the tracking info. I would suggest just call them up and talk to them maybe they can give you more info on it.

what specs did you order and what shipping method?
I ordered the same day 2.3/16/256 and still nothing

This really worries me, I have the same specs but placed it on July 9th. Estimated delivery date Aug 2-8th via 2-3 days shipping.

I think I've figured it out. Apple is serious about honoring the delivery date in your initial order. Even if more stock becomes available, you get locked into your initial delivery date and your order won't ship early. That's why new orders with the 1-2 week availability have been shipping while the July 4th orders (from the last week of the 2-3 week availability) aren't even preparing to ship yet.
At least that's my theory.
Next time I want a new product close to release, I think I'll wait and order on the day the shipping estimates improve. I'll probably get it quicker that way than ordering early.

I ordered on 7/5 also the same exact model and it's still processing... totally sucks that others have received theirs and they ordered after.. :/
That sucks, maybe it's different with FedEx in BC as they let me pick it up without waiting for a first attempt
Well, you've got the luck of the devil. That's almost obscene.
Mine is very similar. Ordered a 2.3/16/256 on 7/19 with a 2-3 week initial shipping estimate, when they dropped the estimates to 1-2 weeks I got an email notification that my order would ship sooner, and as of right now it's preparing for shipment. yowza!
