Just wondering, do you make a lot of prints? I like the way photos look onscreen with glossy screens, but it's an unrealistic representation of your work if you ever decide to print it. It'll never end up as saturated without just looking crappy. Glossy screens have the same effect as stained glass with a light behind it.

Yes I do. I will admit that a glossy screen is a pain in the butt to calibrate, but I have managed to get it pretty damn close to actual print output. Additionally, I guess after years of using glossy displays, I have kind of gotten used to their properties.

I just called Steve Jobs he said he told his someone to make this photo to freak everyone out haha lol. Then he said the real one is a real surprise.

Image of issues I posted earlier.

Also note if the top and bottom edges are to be curved, the bottom should be concave out rather than in.

Only a few more hours to find out…

So what if the second picture is the result of Very Very good fitting by the aluminum parts. and as a result we se a very flushed express slot and that other battery thingy. thus being a MBP.

If this 15" Maccrook "Pro" is all they update tomorrow I hope they boo Steve Bobs off the stage. I was only waiting for a macbook update for their "$800" macbook. This is only to find out it won't even have firewire. Now they aren't even going to update the Macbook. IMO, Apple should get out of the computer business and stick to toys/phones.

Don't take that part of the rumor as true. There's no way they could only update ONE model.

They took the pic with a cheap toy "Iphone." It's an overpriced Apple product, you actually expected quaility ?

The JR nano pics were fake, what makes you think all the sudden hes got access to leaked macs?

Apple would never make a laptop without a trackpad button? This can't be real, atleast i really hope its not!

I have faith that Apple knows what they're doing with glare. They made the iPhone's screen out of glass and there is absolutely no glare in the sunlight. This screams of 3G Nano's "IT'S FAT, I HATE ITTTT!" Oh, and the 4G Nano's "GLARE! LOOK AT THE BLURRY PICTURE, THERE'LL BE GLARRE!" Just wait for tomorrow and see what happens.

Looks sexy btw.

You can see infinite loop in the top left corner of that last one.

The first picture seems pretty legit to me (I know, it was edited with photoshop, but that was probably just to add the text onto the image)

Faking EXIF data is not that hard. All that would require is a few other iPhone photos to know what the EXIF data from an iPhone shot looks like, and Google Earth for some substitute GPS coordinates.

That was a photoshop mockup created by MacX.CN

haha... okay I was wondering... the MR community's usually pretty sharp, figures I was missing out on something.

Here's what I was talking about with that tapered case bottom. Please excuse the poor presentation skills. So this thing looks thinner than it actually is from these angles, it'll be a bit chunkier when seen side-on.

Well

Not so sure about this one. The black keyboard I can accept, no touch pad, that's cool, glossy only black bezeled screen, really?? Yes, the iMac is beautiful but that is the iMac, can't use the same design for a notebook. Granted there is a chance I'll be picking one of these up, either that or an old one, we'll see.

If this is real, count me in for 1.

I dont care about the MacBook, Only the MBP. I dont care about FW400, as long as their is a FW800 to 400 Adaptor that is provided by Apple.

Glossy = way better than Matte. Looks alot more vibrant!

Im ready to shell out $$$ for this as long as the specs are good.

Good Job :apple: if this is true!

It's hilarious; EVERY SINGLE TIME a picture is posted for something that is unreleased somebody sits there and picks apart how it's obviously fake and spends the time to circle where they say there are photoshop errors. The problem is that you guys manage to do it to the real pictures so I take those opinions picking it apart with a grain of salt.

The big question is...(re-posted from earlier)!!!

How can it be that the left side is blurry while the right side is sharp? It doesn't seem to be a focus issue (the two sides are too similar in distance from the spy-cam), but how can it be motion related, i.e. how can the photographer have moved faster with respect to the left side than the right side of the MBP?

Just wondering...
