When I started rolling out the replacements with 1920x1080 displays, 3 people literally broke into tears.
1280x800 is NOT fine, unless we're talking about a cell phone or a 10" netbook. I'm finally able to replace our old laptops at work, all of which have 1280x800 screens. We got them that way because my boss, who got the first one, didn't want to wait an extra week to get a decent display, so it became the standard. Over the past 3 years, the single biggest complaint I get from everybody is the low resolution of the screen, and the fact that you can't get much work done with that few pixels. I'd rather have the name "Light Peak."
Seriously, try to say "Thunder Bolt" with a straight face for the very first time. I dare you.

So just to clarify. This is the low-end 13" MacBook Pro. So the other models will have better specs.

Calling it now: this configuration replaces the white Macbook at $999.
so the only two pictures we have BOTH coincidently reveal the specs of the same model in different language?
This looks photoshopped… the vertical cut is very noticeable on that usb port

So, it's likely there will be another 13" model that is $300 dearer.
I wonder what we'll get for the extra 300 bucks?
Increased resolution has got to be on that model.
Possibly a small SSD for the OS?
