What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Just got a charge on my card for my BTO 14” M1 Max (24C) / 32GB / 1TB.

Email stated ships in 5-7 business days, with delivery Nov 3 - 5. Here’s to hoping this means I’m getting it earlier. :)

There definitely was BTO on Oct 26 delivery, I went back and forth on my configuration for a while and as soon as I saw the delivery slip I placed the order. (10:59AM)

What are all the different fields you can enter into UPS Tracking By Reference to potentially get the tracking info for the MacBook? I've tried phone number and it just shows me the power extensions Apple delivered today.
One reference number can show multiple packages, so I assume when yours ship it'll be there too. Did you put your number with a 1 in the beginning?

I remember previously it was also order number, order number minus last two numbers, and some time ago a combo of phone number and order number

So I just found out about 6% back Apple Card. I used my Amex for purchase protection and extended warranty, but the extra 3% already covers AppleCare+ for the extended warranty period and the monthly installments would be a huge bonus (I don't like spikes in my yearly graph haha)

Apple specialist suggested I return and re-order but I already got emotionally attached to this MacBook, also won't ship until late November. Oh what to do
You should check to make sure your AmEx card still supports that warranty extension. They made some changes last year to some of their cards that removed this feature.

That’s what I thought too. Not sure how people were able to snag a custom config for Oct 26th day. They got so lucky

Apple had a bunch of BTO builds already in the production queue probably. They knew a bunch of people would go for the M1 Max 32 core GPU with 64GB of RAM and likely go for 1TB or 2TB or storage so they build a bunch of those. Etc. etc.

I was going to use my Apple Card but I remember my credit limit was not high enough so I used another card that had a higher credit limit - so after I did that i requested a credit limit increase- but it was still not good enough if was high enough then I would of canceled my order and place it again, but buy the time you do that and you place order it could even slip back

Blazing fast! ?
Based upon all the rumors (which were very close), I researched what I wanted the week prior and had my configuration selected in less than 1 minute after going live.

Dude is this what you should be purchasing if you don’t have enough credit?

May I ask what you do for a living?

The Apple specialist hinted that you can change to Apple card as long as it's not "preparing to ship" so maybe give it a shot. Also, can you overpay an Apple Card? My first credit card had a limit of $500 and whenever I needed to buy something expensive I would overpay the difference and it clears (e.g. I wanna buy something for $700 so I "pay $200" so the balance is -$200 and it can clear)

It does! One year over the manufacturer's warranty for up to $10,000. But unfortunatly doesn't stack with AppleCare+ otherwise I'd have an amazing 4 year warranty! Enough until the new MacBook

It’s a crapshoot, though. I did the exact same thing with my 13PM order and shipment was delayed by over a month. So I cancelled the order and gave my 12PM to my grandson for a special occasion and will get my 13PM in late December.
iPhones are much difficult to get day 1. If you don't have the configuration you want saved in the Apple Store app and credit card ready you can forget about getting it right away.

I have a feeling the 💻 may come from stateside. It’s just weird no one has gotten a UPS label as of yet. Are they all in United States, already? Also, what about the people outside of U.S? How are they getting it delivered?

When will they appear? Desperation is starting to kick in a little.
