What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Have you folks seen this photo? This was posted on Twitter yesterday. This is Tim Cook’s baby!

It gives you an idea how big and thick the 💻 pro is. I’m so glad I ordered a 16” for myself. Bigger screen. I love all the port slots being present. It’s such a welcoming change

Cool photo! I wonder if it's maxed out. Can't think of how Tim Cook would utilize M1 Max

To me it looks like the reviewers are are getting there review units so they can maybe do some reviews on Monday since that is when the embargo is lifted- those look like review units or why would we see like a first unboxing on reddit since the computers are not even yet

If you order a stock model from Apple.com.
Can you please advise if You have a UPS scan?

Can someone confirm this please.
Nothing for me yet (stock/base 14"). Lends further credence to my theory that they have a stockpile of base models stashed away in a US warehouse somewhere - likely Rialto, CA or Carlisle, PA (or both).

How do you switch to "Express Delivery"?
Chat in with Apple and ask them to switch it. It's free. Not sure if it does anything though.
My 16" M1 Max BTO Nov 3-5 just switched to PFS and my Apple Card got charged, but I only see 3% cash back instead of the reported 6%
Update: turns out the cash back was an error on Apple's part, so no 6% sadly...

I tried this yesterday and no dice in switching to express

I have 5k limit. My other cards combined have 300k limit. I did the increase limit thing on Monday and got a whooping +500. Had to pay the bill early to clear balance, and get instant trade-in discount to put maxed out 14” on it. Couldn’t put Apple Care on it. Those algos they use for credit limit are retarded. And no human being to review.
Well said!

Yea, and don't bother from what I was told. Express isn't the same as Expedited. It won't make it move through the system any faster when everything is being drop-shipped from overseas. Its just 8$ that you're donating to Apple. :)

Edit: As I understood from my conversation with Apple specialist last night - Shipping options don't get applied until its in the country and in the hands of UPS. Based on history... this is either Louisville, KY or Ontario, CA. At that point, shipping options are applied as it gets routed through their system. With preorders of Apple's magnitude, they run on their logistics system and ensure that the deliver by dates are met. If Apple's system has you listed as October 26 - even if you're Standard shipping - it is virtually guaranteed a delivery attempt is made on Oct 26. Same deal with phones.

There are always things that can occur outside of UPS control - but generally, they've been pretty reliable.

I didn't have to pay $8. I just asked the rep if I could change it to "express", expecting to pay something, and they just switched it and said I don't have to pay anything. Which is why I suspect probably nothing changed.

“If you were to give Google or some other company friendly advice on their silicon journey, what would it be?” I ask.

“Oh, I don’t know,” says Joz. “Buy a Mac.”

LOL. I love Joz so much.
