What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Gonna go into the store on Tuesday and check them out and read some reviews before I order. I'm torn between the base 14", the unbinned 14", or (for the same price) the base 16".

SSD size really isn't that important to me as I live off external ones anyways...but I do some light-er work in Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro (usually just in 1080p and under 10 minute long videos), and running lots of different slack tabs and excel sheets and just productivity apps...not sure which suits my need best...

Just watching some of the posts throughout the last 24 hours. Excited for all the folks that are starting to see shipping status. Going to be living vicariously through you next week! As @TheYayAreaLiving has pointed out - I think y'all are the first wave headed out of China. My guess is they're mostly Oct 26 orders, with a few lucky 10/27-11/2 & 11/3-5 folks thrown in there. Assuming those that are Preparing for Shipment now are being loaded up on skids with others, and waiting for the next flight out!

I suspect my 14" BTO (M1P 10/16, 32GB, 1TB) currently slated for 11/3-5 will be somewhere mid-to-late weekend with the rest of the crowd, maybe into early next week. Still "in processing" at this point.

Honestly, any one of these you’re thinking about will be overkill for your needs, so basically choose based on screen size.

Do you have or plan an external monitor? 14”.

Do you want to work on your MBP screen? Maybe 16” then.

Yes i have an LG ultrafine so I think I will just stick to the base 14" lol! Save some money and that way I won't feel too guilty if I upgrade in 2-4 years.

Those of you that was wondering about the Apple Card 6% daily card. Here it is :) Apple has us covered. Not to worry. Nothing to stress over about.

A friend of mine was just charged and had 6% back. There is now a balance adjustment for3%, so in the end he only got 3% back with his Apple Card and not 6%.

EDIT: Just saw others posted about the confirmation email about this from Apple as well

What SSD size? I ordered BTO 14" M1 Max/32 GPU/64 RAM 1 TB SSD around 5 minutes after you haha. Estimated delivery to East Coast shows as Nov 3 as well but haven't had any movement towards "Preparing to Ship" yet..

I pre-order iPhones every year but I haven't been this rabidly excited about a new Apple Product maybe ever?

Annnnnnd literally 5 seconds after posting this, my Apple Card was charged, and my custom order is also now Preparing to ship!!! It's happening!!!

Going on vacation on November 2nd so I am REALLY hoping the shipping date is moved up a day or so!

Not sure if others have reported this, but the shipment for my 14" Max 24C/32 GB/1 TB machine has shown up for me in UPS MyChoice. Apple hasn't updated the status in the app yet, but UPS shows it is on its way, coming from Shanghai, China. UPS reflects a 10/26 arrival date as expected. If you have UPS MyChoice, check the UPS site - you might see your shipment!

I’m suspecting that 6% cash back was not for the people who purchased using the monthly 0%, but those who paid in full. Did anyone who did the year finance end up getting the 6%?

The confirmation email posted above states that there is a one time 6% back for this purchase, for those who had this 6% amount noted when purchased.
