What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

No, I’m talking about people who ordered multiple sizes and then returned one or more.
They are scalpers. They trying to make money and when they can’t sell it. They return it back to Apple. It is unethical. That’s why Apple decided to come out with how many products you can order at a time. They did that with iPhone 13 launch.

No, I’m telling you, the threads here were full of people buying one of each and then returning the ones they didn’t want. In many cases, there were multiple rounds of returns of the same models.

Apple’s systems seem to be off right now with shipping info. My AirPods 3 have been at Preparing to Ship for several days, but the UPS app has them in Hong Kong after originating in China two days ago.

Maybe Apple has a restriction applied until tomorrow or Monday? None of my new accessories have been shipped either. At least you have a tracking number now it’s under UPS’s hands.

My wife’s 14” BTO w/ delivery Nov 5-10 moved to Preparing to Ship this morning and card was charged (my identical build was ordered 15 mins before hers with a Nov 3-5 window so will be interesting to see how far behind she stays on the logistical side of things)

Interesting. All of the stock models are now showing a 30-day wait.

If you were promised a November delivery…and Apple has applied “prepare to ship” maybe they are doing that so people do not cancel out their orders? Because come Tuesday… they will be available at stores.

I wonder if this is true or not.

No, “preparing to ship” has very specific ramifications with Apple, including the CC being charged.

No luck here at all. Apple doesn’t want me as a customer I guess. 🤣

It’s the big question though if going to the store is worth the effort…
And if „going to the store“ means camping out 2h pre opening or showing up midday is sufficient…

I hate that I only have a shipping window from Nov 3rd to 8th… if I only knew which day… this drives me nuts…

We’ll have to wait till Monday to know for sure but seeing as many orders from a few days late October and first week of November being pushed, I think Apple played it safe with rough delivery estimates and we might getting them on the 26th or a few days later.

Gotta say, it’s very exciting to see an initial late estimate and suddenly getting the product delivered way earlier 🙏🏽
Speaking of a product being delivered way earlier I’m pleasantly surprised that my Series 7 Nike Watch got bumped from my original estimate date of Nov 17-24th….

HOWEVER, my watch best not TRY to be hitching a ride with my MBP shipment and cause a possible delay. I’m not sure if Apple will ship these together but I’d venture to guess they will come separately.

🤞
