I am questioning life, do I need a 1TB or 500GB would work? Currently on my 500GB Mac, I have around 160GB left.. How are those Sandisk external USB C drives? Is it better to get one of those?

He should do a screen uniformity test. Making sure there are no grey tint, no red tint… or even screen bleeding.
RAM and storage is all hardwired in - for future resale value and future requirement, I always thought it best to up both to a least the middle tier. If you keep the machine 5-7 years, it’s a bargain.
Gotta make sure each and every one of those 10,000+ miniLEDs work perfectly.

Oh yeah! All of them are lighting up and working. @LFC2020 macbook pro needs to go through a intense test. Making sure it meets the standards!
Maybe so it won’t show dirt as much as it’s used. A trick used on auto detailing cloths as well. Looks like the lighting in the Apple Store pictures (vs real life) is the same they used for the Apple Watch bands.
The silver on the new 14 inch is darker than the silver on my 2015 15 inch MBP! Pleasant surprise, as I didn't want to go full space grey.
Edit: Retract my statement, the one on the left has more sunlight on it. Changed angle, they're the same shade of silver. My bad, lol.

The answer is: Yes! 🤣🤣 I was missing you guys. It’s funny b/c the opposite end of the spectrum is…well, if I wait until next year, it’ll have this/that feature…but if I wait 2-3 years, it’ll have that next chip or this feature.

Welp, that confirms it then. There is indeed a problem with the panels being old tech and laggy. I was worried I would notice and now I'm pretty sure I will. The bloke from anandtech tweeted about this issue.
I would recommend against upgrading yearly for the laptop lol.
That review was interesting and struck a chord w/ me…as I see the new case designs, it is very ”a la Power Book”-esque…and I also still have my 2013 RMBP 13” with MAGSAFE and actual ports I didn’t need dongles for. What’s old and older, is new again.
Maybe we’ll get DVD Superdrives in the next MBPs! No?!
Interestingly not one reviewer mentioned about this. I would think at least one of them had an old silver model.
It's pretty imperceptible, I used to color grade for a living so I may just have a finer eye for it. The average person probably won't notice it haha.
