So what? That doesn’t mean anything 🤷♂️The report is coming from Gurman. I doubt Apple will only release 2 💻 14” and 16” along with AirPods. This is the last Apple’s event of 2021. Hopefully they will squeeze everything in on this event

This, although I have the MBP with 16GB of RAM. This machine is amazing, my only gripe is only 2 USBc ports - on the wrong side for me lol. I also really need a bigger screen and my aging eyes are aging.

This could very well be. I remember reading that these machines have been ready for a while but held back for some reason? Maybe they will be available tomorrow...
Seems more likely they will be announced tomorrow and made available in 1 or 2 weeks (but no preorders).
I hope they follow suit from last year, orders started right after the event. God forbid it doesn’t follow the M1 iMac release timeline but then again, it’s a redesign so 1-2 weeks availability might be the case.

Ignore them. Just watch the event and enjoy. Rumors are just rumors and this year in particular the rumors have been incorrect a lot.

Hopefully we won't see a massive price increase, my bet would be in between $1699.00 and $1899.00 for the 14" model. No more money towards Intel, gotten rid of the Touch Bar, but increased cost for the mini-led display.
Ok, call me crazy… does a notch even make sense even if it’s to house a 1080 camera? I mean think about how people open and close the MBPs. I can see it now… 1st, there were complaints about the M1 MBAs with screen cracking, now what, complaints about damaging the camera/sensors, etc because pressure is repeated applied when opening the MPB if the bezels are narrower which places the camera/sensors, etc closer to the casing?

That seems plausible since it is in between the 13" $1300 and 15" $2400, but I wonder if there will be any price replacement going on. For reference, the 13" retina at first introduction was $1700 and it was a year before the base 13" was replaced with a retina $1200 model.
I'll take the notch if the rest of the bezels are actually that thin.
If it looks like that to me its very pretty. I got my very first iphone this time around(The iPhone 13) it has a notch, I dont mind it at all..and Im coming from an old a@@ samsung galaxy s6 model, so the whole notch thing, I mean is it super ideal, probably not but you get used to it, its worth it to get specs like that
Yes! The trade off is much better. I think People have set their expectations with Apple very high which they should but they want something like Tony Stark or James Bond type technology in the real world.
Good point! A lot of Quality Assurance goes behind Apple’s product. Especially the MacBook 💻 Pro. Apple knows people are anxiously waiting. I have full faith and hope at Apple and I know they will not disappoint us tomorrow. Expect all the Mac’s to be back ordered and sell out fast right away.
