Here’s the new leather sleeve. It smells oh so good. It’s from Mission Leather Co out of Dallas. No issues and the wait wasn’t long. Takes them about 5 days to put it together. Thanks Tim

Was trying to help a friend do ISPU for an AW7 - but none in stock either. I didn’t play with the M1 Pro MBPs for fear of wanting a 2nd one.

Saw Sting at his Residency concert at Caesar’s, got a nice run in along the Strip...lots of tasty drinks and food. Even some good luck ? at the ? ! I have tomorrow and Sunday to read all the fantastic pages I’ve missed! Happy weekend all - and I hope all our MBPs ship/deliver soon.
Have to wait for my actual M1 Max 10/32/64 16in before ordering a sleeve or bag.

Been to Vegas too much - every time I went I would fly home and have the flu! Attended Comdex and CES for ten year period from 2000-2010 & got to experience the best of Vegas, with penthouse hosted parties, etc. I'm not a gambler so for me I enjoyed the sights and people watching.
13 November and still not shipped..... Dates not changed as of today (13 November). Interesting that Apple do not inform you when expected shipping dates change. Amazon manages to do so and Microsoft too. But not Apple. Odd for a customer orientated company. Still we will see if they can still get it to me within their new dates. Not confident.
Well, it looks like my follow-up email that I sent to PicasoLab yesterday netted results. Checked the shipping status this morning and finally showing movement! Why there is a 10-day discrepancy, I have no idea. Hoping to receive my leather sleeve within the next few days.

Darn it, no Apple cloth. But I agree with you, Apple store employees are also lost 😂 I had to show them as well the cloth via an app for them to check the inventory 😂

I never truly gambled while in Vegas. Once my $20 was gone—slots, I was gone. I preferred to spend my money on restaurants and entertainment.
If I ever go back, I will not make the mistake of going in July again, the overhead misters were no help at all—day or night! But unfortunately I didn’t have a choice since my trip was work related.

When I left for my out of town yesterday, I faithfully wrapped the MBP in one of my bath sheets. 🤣 Made for a bulky transport, but I had it in its own bag so it wasn’t too bad.

Was seeing posts about iPhone camera/software processing issues. Haven’t noticed on mine. In fact the low light and zoom were fantastic at the concert last night. We were about 1/3 of the way back from the stage. Very nice, smaller venue setting. *edit: other photos/video isn’t uploading but from what I captures, I didn’t see any issues with my photos yet.

Unfortunately just no time to make it to Resorts World, but our next stay - maybe we’ll do there. Same for your Thai food reccos. We hit the road back to LA after lunch today. 😁
Ahhh! Wise decision on leaving today. Because tomorrow I-15 will be backed up. Everyone will be heading to California. Drive home safe
